Has anyone taken their kids to this recently?

Maizey LOVES Alice and I am sure this would be the highlight of the trip for her. But I want to make sure Alice will be there.

Thanks

sorry i think I posted thi in the worng section? :confused3

This is the first message board I have ever joined. My wife is laughing at me :rotfl2: because I have to keep asking her what all the abberaviations mean.

Hi
We were there last August, and Alice and the Mad Hatter were definitely there. The kids loved it.

My dd6 loved it! they get to have sandwiches and tea (apple flavored) with mad hatter. I don't want to give anything away, but the mad hatter really puts on a great show! I would recommend making a trip back to your room directly after the tea party ends (again, can't say why) I understand the price has gone up since i was there in december, but I think they are getting an actual meal instead of just enough for good snack. she will also get a picture taken of her with the characters. if possible, buy her one of those disposable cameras, my favorite pics were the ones she took on her own. my dd wore an alice dress that I picked up at our local disney store. there was only one other girl in a dress.

My daugther will be 5 during our trip in August and she is really looking forward for the wonderland tea at GF !!!

My DD8 has done this twice and she's doing it again in December. :thumbsup2 Alice is most definitely there! We used to just do the 1900 Park Fare breakfast to see Alice but doing the tea party instead is much more fun for her---and relaxing for me as I get to have a quick lunch in the Grand Floridian Cafe.

My kids did it last summer and are doing it again this summer....they LOVED it and I went and relaxed for an hour....got toenjoy the grown up shops at GF while they were there....very nice for all of us...the price has increased to $42..(last summer it was 30)...if your trip is soon call ASAP...the kid stuff fills fast

We're also taking our DD7 to the Tea Party in August. She's very excited, but I'm still a tiny bit apprehensive about leaving her. For those of you who have gone, do the kids seems to be okay and forget about you not being there once the event gets started?

Can you PM why we need to go back to the room. We are going to be staying at BW and plan on just heading over to MNSSHP after the Tea Party, (spend about a half an hour walking around the GF, change into costumes, and hit the MK right at 4:00)

Thanks

My niece was 5 at the time she went and did just fine! They really put the kids at ease.
