Is buying direct VDH to mostly use in Florida a terrible plan?

I’ve filled water bottles at Animal Kingdom and Epcot and it was less gross than at Magic Kingdom.

I'll make a note to myself to.avoid water in the MK area at all costs

I took a shower and brushed my teeth at BWV and VGF earlier this year and I didn’t think about the water at either resort once….

We tend to get a couple 2.5 gallon water tanks for the fridge depending on how long we are there.

This might be even easier than my pitcher. I don’t like single use plastic, but this may be a compromise.

I’m with you on the single use plastic…. my hope is that this is much better than single bottles and still recyclable….

Central FL water is just high in sulfur. It is not always exactly the same---even at the same resort/in the same location, some years seems better and others worse. That could be more to do with how accurate my ability to smell is at the time!

I keep a slimline brita pitcher in my Owner's Locker. It's one of the few things in there that I use every trip.

The soda fountains in the parks and resorts are filtered, and they all have water dispensers, so that's another source of less-sulfury water.

Water at Polynesian was noticeably more sulfuric than at Crescent Lake areas. I’ve read there is more sulfur in the water near Bay Lake, so maybe that’s why. I bring a Brita filter every trip, and it still couldn’t fully rid the sulfur from Polynesian’s water (I was in the older area; maybe PIT is better?).

You're 100% correct. All the MK resorts and MK are far worse than other locations on property. It smells like Tiana's Bayou Adventure when you're brushing your teeth

It's sad, but you can taste it in some of the drinks dispensed in these locations too. I won't get a frozen Coke in MK. Only Epcot, AK, or DHS Even the small free cups of water. I won't take them from MK QS locations. Only bottled water there.
