Wonderful Panama Canal Sept 2014

So I saw "Captain America: Winter Solider." OMG!!!!!! It was so good! I lost my shiz. It was amazing. And I saw the trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy" (I've seen it like 10 times before, don't judge me), on the big screen- it was AMAZING! Basically I've decided with my sun sensitivity and the blazing hot sun, I maybe sitting watching Marvel movies the entire time. 2 weeks of Sebastian Stan as the Winter Solider.... he is gorgeous. Basically everyone go see this movie. Oh and stay until the last last last credit scenes. I cried.

DH is very hyped about seeing this on the ship....if he doesn't go before...or maybe in addition to. I'm not a big Marvel nerd...give me Star Wars and Star Trek. THAT is where I get my nerd on! :lmao:

We've learned to wait until EVERYTHING has shown. Plus it helps me with my crowd phobia to wait until everyone is out.:crowded:
Yah, a Disney fanatic with a crowd phobia....:faint:

Tell him to see it now! Tell him to see it yesterday! It is good! There was a scene with vets and I cried. I cried a lot.

I have crowd issues too. I had a panic attack at Disneyland last time I went. It was weird. I now live in a town of 10,000 people and most old.

Love the Doctor. If y'all want to figure out my personality, I did a "Which Doctor are you?" I took it. I'm 11. Not cool, calm, sophisticated. Nope I'm 11.

Today the girls are coming over and we're working on our FEs. Smoked turkey skewers, smoked beef skewers... basically I'm smoking the entire lunch in the meat smoker.

Ed and I are just back from a wonderful Caribbean cruise on the Ruby Princess. I can't say enough good things about the trip.... nine nights of total relaxation and 9 days of fun. It was a real downer to come home to ice still on our driveway and piles of snow in the still in the yard! Hopefully today's rain will wash a lot of it away and we can get on with SPRING!

Now that the Caribbean is behind us, we can start planning for the Panama Canal :). The Google spreadsheet for shared dining is growing. I need some input as to how we're going to handle setting up tables and getting the information to Disney. I suppose when the time comes, the list can be broken down into manageable groups and the people in each group can contact their travel agents or Disney to share their tables. It would seem that groups of eight would be about optimum if people want to be able to chat with all the others at their table. Anyway, to add your names to the list, just send me a private message and I'll give you the link to the editable spreadsheet.

There's no way I can catch up with all the posts I've missed while I was concentrating on the last cruise, but now I hope to keep up with what goes on from now until we sail!

We're also booked for the Panama Canal cruise in September. Originally, we had booked this cruise last September on the Fantasy wanting to move it to 2015. Since Disney now has an 18 month sailing date we aren't able to do that. I have to say that after reading all of your posts I am very excited about sailing this coming September with all of you!

Welcome back Karen & Ed. Glad you had a great time on your Princess cruise.

Like you mentioned for the shared dining, I think since there are so many signing up, the list will have to be split up to something like you said 8 to a table. Those sitting at that table will have to have their reservations linked together so they will be seated at the same table. They will need to contact their TA's or if they don't have a TA, contact DCL to link their ressies. The couples at each table well need to know everyone's ressie number to link to their ressie. At least that is how we did it with another family a few years ago. Not sure if it has changed since then or not. :confused3

Wish I could help with that. This will be our first time in San Diego and we no nothing about it. We put a credit card on file with DCL for our on board account.
