Wonderful experince with "Gifts of a Lifetime"!

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to post this but I'll go ahead and if the monitor feels it should be moved to another spot...please do so!

I want to tell you all about the wonderful experience I had setting up a Presentation: Gifts of a lifetime with Jane for my friend Sue!

I had many wonderful emails and phone calls with Jane so we could set up the best surprise for a very dear friend, who was going to be at WDW last week!

About 40 of us wanted to give Sue something special for her birthday so I contacted Jane and we worked out a wopper of a surprise!

Sue was contacted when she was at her hotel, by Jane, and she retrived her packages..one for her and one for her grandson, Jimmy! Jimmy's package had a GOH badge, micky lollypop and a travel game and Sue's had a Sorrcer's hat with ears, a GOH bagde and a note telling her to call Jane to arrange her "gift"!

That done....they set up to meet the next day in the MK and Jane was able to spot Sue and Jimmy cause I had sent pictures of the duo( i was a sneak and took great shots a few weeks before under the pretense..."i have a few pic left on this roll..let me snap a few of you and the kids!" lol! Also...Sue had her Sorcerres hat on...so she was an easy mark!

Sue's surprise consisted of her first going to the wishing well and finding a package with her name on it....I knew she'd get there early so Jane was warned and she beat Sue there!
Sue was then instructed that the Disney Villians had stollen her gift and she had to follow clues to retrive it!
She was then lead on a wild goose chase that took her to Ariel's grotto...looking for an apple in the bushes...she then found a note on Ursula telling her to go to the Haunted Mansion and once in the first room...when the lights went out..she got her last clue...a black lei with a note telling her to go back to the wishing well after the ride!
She then rushed over there...and the whole time Jane and her pixies were with Sue and Jimmy..snapping pictures and Jane even struck up a conversation with them in line for the HM!
Sue later told me that she noticed some woman taking very "strange" pictures! lol!

Once back at the wishing well.Sue retrived her gift and was going to leave when she heard someone calling her name! She turned around and there was Jane and her Pixies! They presented Sue with a lamanated card with all of our names on it and our gifts to Sue...pins, a lanyard, a disney shirt and a Memory book for all of her pictures of this event! And at the end Jane and the Pixies wrapped Sue and Jimmy up in a strand of Disney Dollars! Jimmy was also given a special gift to give to his sister when she arrived the next day!

I have seen some photos and they are fantastic and I talked to Sue right after the event and she had a blast!

If anyone is considering doing this for a family member or a friend....DO IT! Jane is wonderful to deal with and I may just call her once in a while just to say HI!

I highly recommed " Presentations: Gifts of a lifetime" and I know Sue would too!

Thanks Robin, but I just organized it! Sue in fact had about 40 of us who were in on the surprise!
She is one special lady who always gives and gives and for once....we all jumped at the chance to give back and knock her socks off....which we did big time!

It was so much fun setting it all up, chatting with Jane and then hearing from Sue right after the event!

Thanks for posting about Jane and the Pixies. We have a lot of questions on the boards about them and about setting up suprises. Now they can come and read about it for themselves.

Hi CK...re: the cost...Jane has many packages so it would be best to check with her to explore your options! I kept adding items as more people kept sending me money, so it worked out great!
Plus, Jane really works with you to personalize the gift for the person you are doing the presentation for!


Brooke.....so....you were part of all of the fun! Sure wish I could have been there in the shadows with you all! Believe me....I tried to make it!

Sue did say that she was laughing the whole time and most of the reason was because she could not believe that someone acutally managed to catch her off guard, but we did with the help of Jane and her Pixie's!
