On a trip earlier this year we did breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen and lunch at Ariel's Grotto. This time we did dinner at Goofy's Kitchen and breakfast with Minnie & Friends.

I had never been sold on the character interaction before, but our breakfast with Minnie this past Sunday was amazing! We had reservations at 10:30 (the latest seating is 10:50) and arrived 10 minutes early. We were seated inside, not very crowded at all.

The food was very average, but it was fine. As compared to other meals when we were waiting around for the characters to arrive, I hardly had time to get food and eat because the characters kept coming and coming and even returned to our table more than once! The character interaction was incredible!

We saw Rafiki, Dale, Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Fairy Godmother, Minnie, Gideon, and Captain Hook.

Our previous experiences had been that they come to the table, take a photo, sign the book, chit chat for a minute then move on. This time Rafiki came to visit us and came back a few more times to be silly in the room with various people. He would sneak up behind us and try to scare us. He was really good. But the best was Captain Hook. My DD5 decided that she would pretend to be a pirate and pretend sword fight with him. Well he acted soooo scared of her...shaking in his boots, ran from her and she chased him all around the restaurant. Then he waved a white flag and surrendered. Everyone in our area was laughing at this 8 foot Captain hook scared of a little 5 year old girl. The last character to visit our table was Tigger, but Eeyore and Pooh both came back and we got a photo of my daughter with all 3 characters!

It was such a different experience than our other character meals. I don't know if it is typical. Maybe it helped that we were at the end of the shift, so there were very few people there and the characters had more time to spend with us. I highly recommend it!

It's my favorite character meal in all of DLR and WDW. I don't consider the food because I honestly go for the characters, though the food is fine, but eating there also is more like a perk. The variety of friends Minnie has breakfast with is awesome. The time the yspend with you is great as well.

When I went to Minnie's for the 1st time, I had the same feeling as well. The character experience was incredible! I just wish they had better breakfast offerings & that I could actually wake up early. I usually opt for Goofy's Kitchen for brunch bc I'm not a morning person. Anyways, our reservation was also close to closing time & I loved how towards the end, all the characters gathered together for a group pic. It's not everyday you can take a pic w/ a group of different characters together. The only thing was that I kinda felt sorry for the characters. Some are stuffed w/ so much fluff that it's hard for them to walk through the aisle of chairs!

Minnie's is my favorite for character interaction. I'm not a big fan of their food, but you get to see a ton of characters and they are always a lot of fun! Rafiki is my favorite and he shows up there a lot. One time we saw 12 characters. Whenever somebody asks me about character meals, that is the one I suggest. Don't go for the food! If you want good food, go to Ariel's. But if it's character interaction you seek, Minnie's is the place to be.

I love Ariel's too because I really like seeing the princesses. We never went until our last trip a few weeks ago. We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time a few days later. The food was really good. I'm the only one in my group who likes seeing the princesses, but it was easy to talk the others into going back because they loved the food.
