Wonder, Waves and Wishes. 18th October 2009. Remembering the waves!

Thanks for the breakdown! That really helps.

Now, are ya'll going to assemble your gifts before you leave home, or after you get on the ship? I'm thinking that it would be easier to do it beforehand, assuming that the stuff will all pass the inspection screening.

I am putting ours together today! Then into the suitcase they go! Except for one thing that I don't want to break- that'll go seperate then added as we deliver!

No one does in my family

I know this is a stupid question but......

do people wrap/bag their FE gifts and label them with who they are from?

I have a card with the lovely logo that was done with our names, screenname, and the cabin number that the "item" is going to. Don't think anything is required though.:3dglasses

No peanut allergies here either.

No peanut allergies for us either.

I am going to probably just put a paper in with our names. That is what I did last year.

No peanut allergies for any of us.

Our gifts are all combined for our four rooms. I hope that is ok.

No allergy problems with us. We are all set and ready to go. Time is not moving fast enough any more for us. I'm sure that if we weren't ahead time would be going by too fast.

Time is moving too fast for me! I'm still way behind in the things that I need to do, that it's scary!!!!!! :scared1:

Tomorrow I'll finish buying the fabric I'll need for the kid's costumes. Then I gotta make them. And make the fish extender. Yikes! But at least I now have a room reserved for the night before the cruise.

Sending PMs to you now. Anyone else need it?

We also volunteered to be contact cabin- we have post its, pens and a whiteboard on the door if anything changes with room numbers, etc. We're in 6604.

Rob and Kelly- I have an extra exchange gift if you'd like it. I planned on 17, not thinking to subtract my cabin!:headache: So if you'd like the extra send me your cabin number and I'll drop it off!:thumbsup2

Lori pirate:

Thanks for the thought but I think Kelly and I will just be watchers this time and see how things are done. We do really appreciate the offer though. We have just never been on a Disney cruise before and are coming in from overseas right before the cruise so we barely even have enough time to get everything together that we need for ourselves.

Did I miss in a previous post a meeting time and location? I know that there was mention of deck 10 during the cast off party. Is that still the plan?? I know our room assignments won't change and we will keep a check on the white board for any changes. Just thought it would be cool to meet those who wanted to meet. I can tell you with a 10 & 11 year old, they will want to right in front of the stage during the party, just like the last Disney cruise we went on.

I don't think a time or place has been mentioned yet.:confused3 Other than around the time of the Sailaway party.... And I'm pretty sure some of our UK peeps have started their trek this way.... When we decide on something I'll put it on the whiteboard on the door, just in case!

Good idea. Maybe we can just go there first or soon after we get on the ship. It is so exciting to talk in the present tense about this cruise!!

I'm getting so excited!!!

Unfortunately - I somehow threw my back out on Tuesday morning. Didn't injure myself or anything. Went to the doctor today & he said it's simply muscle spasms. So I'm on Vicodan (happy drugs!) until it passes. Which better be before we leave on the 10th (the doctor said I should be fine by then......)

So, I could do some interesting things while getting the FE gifts together. LOL! :)

oooh, I hope you feel better. At least enjoy yourself until you are anyway. I'm just trying not to get sick with all of the flu and other yucky ailments people have at work..... yet, they still come to work with every day.

I'm already feeling better - YAY! :)

Here it is. I'll make up another one without the shadows - that way it can be used easier for stuff.
