Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, if no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, anyone can organize the FE right in this thread.

Hi all! I am so excited for my family to be booked on this cruise! This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and first to Alaska. I'm looking forward to conversing with everyone on the thread and learning about what excursions or activities people are planning!

Also, I'd like to sign my immediate family up for the FE. We're traveling with extended family but I don't think they will be participating. The FE for our cabin will be my husband and two daughters ages 12 and 10. I'm happy to PM the cabin number to whoever needs it!

Hi Clare, when are you flying out and who are you flying with? We're flying out the Friday before from manchester. I was hoping to use my virgin miles but then they pulled vancouver from there summer schedule so now we are on an Air Transat flight. Virgin wanted us to fly via Munich! Erm, no thanks.

Which list? The FE or the Roaming Gnome. No one has shown any particular interest in the Roaming Gnome so I haven't done anything with that. If you would like to join the FE you can always PM me the info.

We were able to get all the excursions we wanted with private vendors! I was so surprised since it seems so 'late' compared to when most book. Can't wait.

We booked with Harv and Marv. Cost is $149 pp plus tax. Children have to be over 13 though, not sure if that is an issue.
