Wonder Nov18th 2007 Anyone???

Anyone want to plan to meet at 3 p.m. at the Mickey pool? The kids can swim or hit the slide while we meet up. (Here's hoping the weather will cooperate!) I figure that gives everyone a chance to get on board, eat, rebook meals, find their rooms, etc. And wear our " pink carnation" ???

Count us in for a meet at the Mickey Pool!!!! I'm sure that's where We'll be anyway- if my DS has anything to say about it:rotfl:

If anyone is interested I found Mickey Head Bubbles( 4 to a pack) in the party section at Walmart thought they'd be a great way to celebrate the Sail Away Party.

We're up for a meet ... and sharing some fruity adult beverages, LOL!

Do we all agree on pink carnations? :cutie:

Hey, I'm not sharing ... you'll have to get your own drink! :drinking1:

I will be on the lookout for a silk carnation this week! Thanks for the tip on the Mickey bubbles. Those would be cute.

DH is away this week, so I've started to pull things out to pack. We are driving in the night before, and then staying at Disney for three nights following the cruise, so I have three sets of bags. Lots of organization -- hopefully it won't get too confusing. Anyone else doing Disney before/after?

Let me know if you can't find the bubbles, I think they were like 1.99 -think I could spring for another pack.

Pink is not my husband's color:lmao: but I'll wear the flower for all of us.

See you all in 10days!!!!!!: :cool1: :woohoo:

We are going, we are going!!! This is our second. We took our first May of 2006 (special cruise 7 day) and it was awesome. I might add my DS is 8 1/2 this trip. He is very excited to be upgraded to the Lab!

The couples massage is wonderful. We are doing the stingray adventure AGAIN. Pretty cool. Anyone in for the Atlantis trip?

I received our documents either Monday or Tuesday -- days go so fast that I can't remember from day to day. It's a smallish envelope. Some of the documents are the same as what is on-line. Whatever you don't fill out in advance they can help you with at the port.

I thinl I'll print out at least one sign to surprise the boys. What deck is everyone on -- we're on deck 6.

We are roughing it in Cat 7 (Stateroom 7126) this time. Don't want to blow too many DVC points so we can save for the Med sailings, hopefully next year! I am glad the porthole openings on the Wonder for the Nav Verandahs are bigger than the Magic openings. But, heck, three days, two of which will be spent at Atlantis and CC, our hunch is we won't miss that extra big veranda we had on our last cruise....hmmm.:scared:

Welcome Bens Mom! You'll have to let me know how Atlantis is. I really wanted to visit this time around but decided to wait until DS5 is a bit bigger. He's little for his age, so I'd hate to get there and him have to miss out on the water rides. So, something to do next time around.

Seems as if we've got lots of boys traveling with us!

I'm continuing the ongoing packing. I think I have my outfits all picked out (plus some!) -- the boys are much easier. I just wish there wasn't so much going on next week before the trip (Veterans Day holiday, T'giving school stuff, soccer practices and party, DH's TDY, etc. --augh!). I'll have earned that adult beverage!

Hey Ben's Mom -- What time are you doing the stingray? We're at 10.

We'll be waiting for you when you wrap up! We took the 11 am spot. You will really enjoy it. Ben loved feeding the critters. Of course, we had to buy the teeshirt! LOL

I can relate with so much to do. Ben has his last soccer game of the season next Saturday morning. I can picture getting Boston Market on Thursday at this point! Thank goodness were are not having company.

I have heard mixed reviews regarding Atlantis. Firstly, I thought the day excursion costs were rediculous. We bought our home from a man who is a finance guy for DCL. He said it's not really Disney's markup on that one...Atlantis is just plain expensive. We booked a day room at the Comfort (or is it Quality) Inn down the road for a third of the price, and we get all the ammenities at Atlantis. We live at the Disney waterparks here in the summer, so we shall see what Ben's review of Atlantis is at the end of the day.

Well, thanks to all for the greetings. Since we plan on embarkation as early as possible (last year we got pressed for time ... Ben had to play his last soccer game the morning we left for cruise, and we didn't get on board till 3!), I think that might be a possibility to get on deck by three. What's this with the carnation thing? Sounds cute.

We have the latter dining. We figure we'd be too pressed for time trying to get back on board after a full day at CC and Atlantis. Palo for us, I believe our ressies are for 9 (I would have preferred earlier) on the 19th. I see it's completely booked now.

The carnation was Tourant's idea- so that we can "identify" those of us from the DIS Board- Dh and I have palo ressies for the 19th as well 8 pm but if our dining rotation that nite is AP we may change or cancel -I don't want to miss AP but I'd love to do Palo:confused3

AP is cool. That theme is on both ships. I have been a bad cruiser and have not done homework on the difference in ships. I believe there is only one different restaurant between them. Am I right? Lumiere's was on the Magic, and I don't think it's on the Wonder...I liked Lumiere's very much.

shame shame for not doing your home work, but you are correct, on the Wonder they have Triton's instead of Lumiere's

As immersed as I am at the WDW parks, I fall short on other things, such as the cruiselines. We are lucky enough to share our town with a couple who have cruised probably close to 60 times now on DCL, and I aspire to be them! Although I do need time to explore all the Disney parks throughout the world, as my fiance has (of course, BEFORE I met him). I expanded my Disney knowledge by getting to Vero Beach and HHI this summer, which were both a lot of fun.

HOPE I GOT THIS RIGHT.

We're going to Palo on the first evening -- I didn't want to wait! Plus, Hercules was our least favorite of the shows last time around, so that's the one we decided to sit out. Last time, we did Palo on Pirate night, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do in the dining rooms.

Bought my sort-of-looks-like-a-carnation today. I looked around for Mickey ribbon to tie around it, but no luck. I did find a small Mickey album on clearance at Target though, so it was worth the shopping trip.

Thanks for the cruisers list Cruizen Mama -- I can't wait to meet everyone. My real name is Tavel (ryhmes with gazelle), BTW.

9 days! :hourglass

HOPE I GOT THIS RIGHT.

Except DH is actually DF (not quite there yet) LOL...I have the engagement ring (complete with hidden Mickey) but no band and no plans. :rotfl: :rotfl2: :bride:  :scared1:

I want to know where everyone is from...it's always neat to compare notes from people who hail from other parts of the country.
