wonder new mattress ?

In trying to find a way to console my worrying self after hearing about the bomb sniffing dogs and the new mattresses for the Wonder... I'm thinking.... when we cruise in late Sept. will we have new mattresses to dream on? Not to make light of a serious situation but just trying to find a bright spot!

That's a good way to look at it even though I doubt they were changing out all the mattresses. That's an undertaking for drydock time I would think.

Really todays occurance should make cruiser feel better. The fact that the dogs picked up something,procedures were followed, everything checked out and no one was harmed would be a better way to look at it. What I saw were a company looking out for there guests and doing a great job. Of course the poor 300+ still on ship may have had flight problems due to the delay but otherwise I assume the ship left on time?

Last Feb. on the Magic (after the October dry dock), they had 1/3 of deck 7 closed for stateroom refurbishing. They did the public areas and many other things during the dry dock, but were doing some major work in the staterooms during the slower guest season.

Don't know if that applies to anything going on with the Wonder...but it does show that they are constantly in some phase of upkeep.
