Eww, mine just went off yesterday, the Registrar told me it should take no longer than 8-10 weeks . For as much $$ I spent on those for a family of 5, I sure hope I get them in time..especially since they have all our birth certificates!

I just checked the on-line status of our applications. Now they pushed the date to April 28th. I am going to call on Monday. I really want to make sure we will have them in time. I completely forgot they have our birth cerificates!!

I know we don't have to have Passports, but has anyone gotten one, or have you done like me, and put it off till now?

They are saying it will take 10 weeks, guess I gotta get them expedited.

We decided to not get passports so that we can spend that $400 on something on the cruise. We don't travel out of the country enough to make it worth paying for a passport for an infant.

Our plans are Palo's on Monday and a couple's massage on our day at sea. We aren't doing any excursions, so we only booked a float for CC.

I'm doing a lot of planning. We're making lists of what we want to bring, what clothes we need to buy, and even checking the menus for what we want to eat. I am getting so excited!

Am I correct that if there is an emergency, and we would need to fly out of say, Nassau, we would have to have a passport?

That is the only reason I am even considering buying it. We went to the post office Friday, and low and behold even though the internet said they were open till 3:30, the sign on the door said 3. The clerk was sitting right there, and it was 3:05, and the door was locked. But we managed to save $15 on pictures. They wanted $15 each, we went to CVS and got them 2 for $15. Don't know what to do now.

I don't think we're going to do anything in Nassau also. We did the Atlantis tour last time and really liked it, but this time we don't have anyone going with us that will take the kids back so we can gamble. So we'll probably just shop and enjoy the pool on the ship. It was too cold our last trip to even put a toe in.

Hello all,
Hope you've had a great weekend! We applied for our passports on Jan. 27. It was a very quick process------about 12 minutes for the 2 of us. What hurt was the checks I had to write! I calculated that by now I should be receiving them, but checked on line & I believe it will be the beginning of April! We chose to get them because you really don't know when a medical emergency might happen & need to fly back, & without a passport who knows when you would be able to return to US. Something to think about Have a great week you all

Hi everyone,
Sorry I have not been on for a long time. We had to drop two people from our group. My son and his fiance, they are both in the military and now are not allowed to go. My son just completed warrant officer school and is so busy.
I will be taking his two boys (DGS8, DGS6) with us in our room. We have a connecting room with my DD, DSIL, DGS5, and DGS2. My Dad will be on the other side of the ship. Total of 10 will be on board.
We all have Palo for brunch and I did the stingrays with the two older boys, who have cruised with us in the past.
Hoping to see everyone soon. We will have our door magnets up on Deck 6

I LOVE Signals, that's one of the reasons why we get our stateroom close to the forward elevators. So close to all the "adult" places! So nice to just run up to Signals from the stateroom & back with the "drink of the day" !

I can't believe it's only 9 weeks away. I really need to get things in order. The day before the cruise DD7 and I are in a dance recital, so it's going to be very hectic once the beginning of May hits. I want to get everything in order so that I don't risk forgetting something. After the cruise, we're going to DW for 5 days. Ahhh, so much planning to do.

Rats! I just saw the new Pirates movie opens May 25th. I was hoping it would open when we were on the ship. I can't think of a better place to see this movie opening. I'm going to dream that the ship gets it earlier and we can all see it.

Hi All!!! Haven't posted in a while, but I'm now so excited I can hardly stand myself! I sure hope everone gets their passports on time. We really debated and in the end decided to get one for DH & myself but we are just brining birth certificates for DD & DS. Hope that all turns out ok. We applied for them on the first week in Jan. and received them on February 20th.

We were going to do a snorkel excursion in Nassau but we cancelled it. Decided it's such a short time, we want to spend as much time as we can enjoying the ship. We may get off ship and do a little shopping, but that would be it. Even the kids agreed!

We are booked in stateroom 7500. Anyone have any comments about this area of the ship? I took this one cause it sounded like it was quiet. Can't beat a good nights sleep!

Hi Everyone,

We booked our first Disney cruise last August and have been counting down ever since!! I am taking my hubby and our 4 year old son. We are doing the 3 night land/4 night cruise. This will be my sons first disneyworld adventure (been to disneyland twice with him), I can't wait to see his face when we get on the ship

We decided to get our passports as we are also doing a princess cruise in September and need the passports to fly into Vancouver, so it seemed like the best thing to do.

Welcome Melissa! It is our first cruise also! I can't even tell you how excited I am! We are doing 3 days at WDW and 4 days on the Wonder, same as you. I have never been to WDW or on a cruise. Hope I don't find out that the sea & I don't agree, cause I'm already wanting to plan the next one! It will be myself, DH, DD 16, & DS 12. Are you doing excursions on Nassau or staying on ship?

Hi Carol! Haven't talked to you in a while. How are the plans coming? Is your family getting excited? Have you planned any excursions?

I booked Palo for the night of our anniversary. Just booked a "couples choice" at the spa. What else?

I have been hesitant to book excursions as I have heard you can do better just finding one when you get off the ship in Nassau. I sent my parents on the 4 nighter in January, and that is what they did, and said it was great. Just a tour of the island. We are not big "activities" people. I like to make our own fun sort of....I guess from what I have read, you can come and go on the ship as you please. I guess I would like to see the aquarium at Atlantis. I hear it is great! Since we are not bringing kids along, we are kind of foot loose on this trip.

Any other suggestions from our shipmates?

Just got back from a few days at WDW - just dh and myself. The grandkids were concerned that we were going on the Mickey boat and not taking them. Now to start getting serious about this cruise coming up. Anyone doing magnets for their doors? I have some I have used from previous cruises, but have been lurking on the magnet thread and there are some really great looking magnets being made up. We still have not planned anything for Nassau. Thought about maybe a city tour since we have never done that. We have been over to Atlantis and the aquarium is definately something to see. We got over there too late in the afternoon for a guided aquarium tour but they were only too happy to take our money to let us walk around the area. I know after the 11 day cruise last fall this 4 day is just going to go by way toooooo fast.

We are just going to do the Pirate Ship Museum in Nassau and then go back to the ship and enjoy the pools and relax, after 3 days of WDW, we are going to need it. Plus I have a pedicure that morning, what a way to start a cruise

I am trying to put together a door sign but my artist ability is getting the best of me, so we will see how it ends up

Otherwise, not much else really that we have planned. Just taking it a day at a time.
