Awesome! It's great to have you. I was just checking my twitter and MousePlanet commented that a TA had an inside cabin for this cruise avail. I instantly thought "Not anymore, I can't imaging that lasted for long!"

HENRY AND BRENDA!!!! I'm so excited to see you are going! It will be great to see you again :)

For everyone... who else is planning to be at DL the day/night before? If the parks close early, maybe we can do a little evening meet and greet in Downtown Disney or at one of the hotels?

I don't know if this will answer your question but here is the answer Disney gives me for my clients. If you used a TA, they have to be the one to "cancel" your cruise. If you booked it directly, you can cancel the cruise.

Here is the concern if you do so. If for any reason, between the time you cancel and the agent rebooks the cabin, someone else grabs it, you are out of luck. There is not a way for the agent to get the cabin back if someone else has booked it.

That being said, this is what Disney tells me. I have had it happen where the cabin has disappeared and I have had the cabin stay put. Usually what happens is that it can take up to 15 minutes for a cabin to "reappear" in thier system.

I am not trying to be a downer and say that you will lose your cabin - I really hope you get the extra money and the cabin! Ask onboard if they can just move it over..it's Disney and magical! Anything can happen! Good luck!

Hi.

Thanks for the info. Yes, that is what I heard from Disney, that's why I was hoping that by the time we cruise, that this cruise will open up some spots, and I won't "lose" my cabin. So, it is good to know that I could conceiveably "rebook" the cruise and obtain the obc. Although, I guess another concern would be whether I'd have to pay the increase fare, which I am guessing is yes. Which probably means that any bonus I receive from the obc would be eaten up by the increased fare.

Oh well, all you can do is try. Thanks again.

Usually it means that you will pay the current price. I really hope it works out for you! The down side is that this cruise PIF date isn't until Nov! :(

Unfortunately this cruise has been sold out for quite some time. You will really want to watch right around Nov. 5 or so since the final payment for this cruise is Nov. 7. Good luck! I hope you get to join us! I will be on the PC cruise as well. You should make sure you join our meet thread!

Thank you for the information. I will certainly be checking around that time. I think i will go ahead and put a call into our TA so that they can be watching for me as well.:thumbsup2

Concierge 1-Bedroom Suite with Verandah just become available if anyone is interested, just a little over our budget....

We'll be there the Thursday before the cruise and I am planning to stay at the GC be happy to have a meet in the lobby.

That's really the best plan. If you have a good TA that will check frequently for you. I wonder if DU has a list going of people who want onboard. I'd think it'd be good to be there too since they do so much business w/ DCL

Hi Hawaiian Mickey & Minnie! We were on the Baltic cruise with you & enjoyed eating the macadamia nut candies throughout the cruise! They were yummy. Wasn't that cruise fabulous?

This cruise definitely is a great little find. What a great way to work our way to Platinum status. If this cruise sold out so quickly, DCL should consider 5 day Mexico runs & 2 day weekends to Neverland.

Hello
Kouris Family here checking in... we are also on this cruise to no-where, trying to built our status. Leaving kids at home this time. Consider this an eating and drinking cruise. Will be a fun way to spend a January weekend.

Welcome! I thought briefly about a no kids cruise on this one. (Laura and my anniversary is Nov 30th but we always celebrate in Jan because the Christmas season is just too busy for us) but shelved the idea because I figured that we'd be spending the cruise wishing that the kids were with us anyway. Did the next best thing though. Bought a cabin for Grandma and Grandpa. That'll guarantee us some alone time. My son's already planning all the activities he'll show Grandma.

I called on this just as soon as it was posted and it was already gone,:sad2: I did put us on the waiting list, though.:thumbsup2

Bummer. I saw that posting and thought that it'd be gone just about as fast as it was posted. Wait list is good though. I'd be on a bunch of them. My guess is that they'll be cancellations along the way.

Welcome! I'm from O.C. too! I'm just taking my DD12 with me just like I do when we stay at the Grand California. This cruise is cheaper! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Aloha,
You can count on us to meet at the bar in GC.:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1:drinking1 It would be nice to meet up with everyone before the cruise.

aloha,
Yes that was a great cruise. Met a lot of new people and made many new friends.
I'm glad you enjoyed the candies.
That's a great idea about 5 day Mexico run and 2 day trip to nowhere. This would be better if it was a 4 day Mexico run and a 3 day trip no nowhere. This could be done maybe once a month.

I really really hope they have Pirate Night:
