Me three (or is it me four now?). I'll be looking for a Duffy and sailor suit and a Minnie plush for a friend here at work, so I might be starting off the cruise with purchases right away.

My DS already has his Duffy and various outfits packed for the trip, LOL. That poor bear is already looking pretty worn (or should I say "well loved"). But DS said he can't go on the cruise without him

There were Dooneys available all 3 days of my cruise in May. NO crowding, no pushing, they were out for anyone who wanted them.

that's a good idea. Weather nice here too. I'll look about for goodies for the trip and I need to make some Surprise Door Magnets for my friend.







Nice! Yep I took advantage of the Disney Visa and online OBC's too. We'll be set for this cruise. Unless my wife makes me buy one of those Dooney & Bourke purses.

Oh, I so want one of those purses. I just can't make myself pay the price for one, though.

Haven't packed yet either, we've got stuff laid out all over the family room though. Laura just got me a new pair of sunglasses. Crazy expensive but the cheap ones never last long.

Palo Brunch and Dinner Reservations are available right now.

Darn, I logged on quick to grab one and everything is gone. I originally did not think we wanted to do Palo since we will be back on the ship in April. Now the last couple of days I was thinking I did not want to wait until April to dine in Palo. I am so bummed I missed out. I guess we can take our chances and see if they have anything open when we board. However, we would have to pack accordingly.

Just checked the marine forecast. Looks like 4-6 foot swells at the worst, so shouldn't be much of a problem for anyone. I once sailed out of San Pedro on the Lady Washington tall ship in 8-10 foot swells and didn't get sick (although it was a bit iffy at times on a vessel that size). With a big cruise ship like this, I'd wager we won't feel a thing.

Weather is due to be around 70 on Friday and 66 on Saturday in the San Pedro area, so plan on a few degrees cooler on the water. Not bad, if you ask me!

We'll actually be closer to San Diego on Saturday than San Pedro so I'm guessing warmer weather than that! Whoo HOO!

Here is the swell information. Will be a bit heavier later on Saturday and then Sunday morning (although we'll be pulling into San Pedro Sun at 5am so won't be feeling much after that). My bet is that our cruise to nowhere will head south towards Cabo for calmer seas. This is what we did on the Sapphire Princess in December when we had big waves and storms off the coast of CA...

Jill, I can't believe that with your collection you haven't gotten a DCL one yet! But then again, I do remember you saying you haven't been on a ship in a while.


Good luck all you Dooney girls. I will be watching the melee from the sidelines. It surely can't be as bad as the Transatlantic this year when we were taunted by the bags for 6 days before they finally put them on sale. It was a feeding frenzy. Ladies were coming away from the display with 4 and 5 on each arm.

I am undecided on the DCL design. I love the Mickey balloon one and if I don't see it at the park, I'm going to order it from Disney Shopping. I love Dooney but am really picky about style and size and haven't found many I love... I have a Goldilocks-like relationship with my handbags.

Oh I forgot about Duffy! He wasn't out yet when we went down for Halloween in early October, so we will definitely have to get one this time. My daughter is a stuffed animal maniac!

LOL Monica...that is the only reason I have not bought the DCL Dooney. Last cruise was the Panama Canal, so its been awhile

I got the black mickey balloon Dooney, feedbag style, for Christmas. Love it, although its a bit of a black hole at times when it comes to finding things

I'm still working on my Fish Extender stuff...:= I love it...

DD12 and I are so excited we are thinking about leaving tomorrow....to DCL then to the Crowne Plaza for an extra get away night....

So much DRAMA in this house...I'm seriously thinking of doing this

All I ask is that I come home to a clean house like the way I am leaving it!

DCL is back up. I just reverified my Palo, the price has increased to $20 per person for both dinner and brunch. Somewhere I read it was going up but would not affect anyone with reservations before X date? No matter, it won't break the bank.
