I am getting 10dayMYW Premium non expiring tickets with the pluses.

I know from reading stuff here that we can add on days to a MYW ticket that is less then 10 days, like 2-8 days, even after it is partically used. But I was wondering if we bought a 10 day ticket and used 5 days on one trip, could we then pay for anothe 5 days to up date that ticket to another 10 day MYW? and also/maybe add 5 more pluses to that? :goodvibes

So in the end we would end up with a ticket we could use for 15 daysof parkhopping, and 10 pluses. Of course WDW prob has thought of this... but I have never seen a thread if this is possible. I have not figured out the cost of doing this, but since most of the folks that have done all the math, Bless Them! :cheer2: , have figured that it is cheaper in the long run to get a 10dayMYW with all the trimming and it comes to aroung $25? a day, I thought what if I could add /top off the ticket after particaly use?

So I am hoping someone out there that is math inclined, or knows all things Disney if this is something we could do.
As usuall Thanks tons, folks! :cheer2:

This is something you could do.

You would take your partially used hopper to Guest Relations, and they would credit you 1/2 of what you initially paid. (That's 1/2 STRICTLY in this example because you've used half of your days....if you had used 6 days, they'd credit you for 4 days and so on...)

You could then apply that credit towards the purchase of a new 10 day hopper.

You have to be careful though with this. Your new 10 day ticket will have to match the options you've USED from your old 10 day ticket. So if you park hopped with your old 10 day, the new 10 day will have to have park hopping. If you used any of your plus options, you have to put magic plus pack on the new ticket. And you'll also be required to be the non-expiration on again.

Thanks! That sounds good! Now I must do the dreaded math and figure out if it is worth it... I am getting the tickets from the local Military base, and saving a bundle. And since we wanted to add all the options this might work.
I would end up with a ton of pluses, which is good as we love DQ, and we want to do several trips. And I am trying to see if it is cheaper to do this then get us all PAP. I have one now, and am not sure if I will renew it or not.
I know if we do 2 trips this year it is worth one of us having a PAP, due to the length of stay/discounts, I did that math! But there is a chance we , gasp!, might not get to go back again this year. And with the non expiring MYW I am trying to get as much use as possible. The cost of the tickets here will be $335 for a 10day, parkhopping, pluses, non expireing. That is at the local military base and they need to order them special and order at least 10 of them, and I have found over 10 folks that can legaly buy them from the MWR office! That sounded pretty cheap...

Also, then be aware that you may have to purchase your new tickets at the gate without your military discount. I don't THINK the Guest Relations windows can give you a discount, so you'll have to pay gate price for whatever new tickets you're purchasing, which means a 10 day premium non-expiring will cost about $415.

SnackyStacky thanks for the info. I know I can not get a discount at the guest window, but with the initial saving it might still be a good deal. I just need to break down and do the math!
BTW great wedding date, Sept 14.... that's my birthday! Belated Congrads to you both!

If you are going to add on days, why not just buy additional 10 day passes from the base. Use the next one when the first one runs out. That way you will get the discount.
