Does the Wonder have a dinner buffet since it doesn't have Cabanas yet?

All the ships have a buffet. It's just called something different on the Wonder - Beach Blanket Buffet.

However, dinner service in the buffet areas (whether Cabanas, or BBB) is a sit-down table service with a limited menu of selected items from the menu(s) available in the regular MDRs that evening as well as a carving station and a salad bar. Cabanas/BBB is not open on the first and last nights of any given cruise.

On some cruises Cabanas/BBB will serve a buffet for dinner (usually on those port days that the departure time is late).

Thanks! We are booked on the Wonder for Southern Caribbean and there are 5 port days so I doubt we would eat in the regular dining room.

What dinner seating do you have? It looks like all the ports you have a 4:45 all aboard. You should be able to make either dinner seating with that.

We have the main seating. I don't doubt that we can get there on time but more if we will just be tired. We have never done this port intensive of a cruise. We aren't even 100% sure we are going to keep the reservation so I am trying to research the options.

Do you plan on eating dinner? Seems to me going to the MDR and having someone wait on you would be the most relaxing way to handle it.

Another thought - you could ask to be moved to late seating dinner. That way you could come back from your port activities and take a little nap (if you want) before dinner.

Beach Blanket on the Wonder serves buffet at breakfast and lunch. Dinner is not a full buffet. From the DCL site:

"Dinner is served from approximately 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. except on the first and last days of the cruise. Check the Personal Navigator—the Disney Cruise Line daily newsletter detailing all there is to see and do—for specific dates and times of activities while onboard.

If you're looking to dine amid the warm ocean breezes during dinner in a more casual setting, you're invited to enjoy Beach Blanket Buffet in place of a Main Dining restaurant any night of your cruise. Bedecked in linen tablecloths and napkins, Beach Blanket Buffet at dinner is a more elegant affair than its breakfast and lunch counterparts.

As you make your way into the restaurant, select from a series of appetizers from the buffet table. Then, sit back as your server brings your mouthwatering main course to the table.

Boasting a selection of tantalizing American fare during a delightful 4-course meal, Beach Blanket Buffet offers a selection of fine food for everyone in your family. Although subject to change, dinnertime menu items include signature dishes from the Main Dining restaurants and casual dining specials."

Hope this helps! Have fun planning. :flower:
