We are going on the Wonder in 26 days and we have a few questions. There are far too many threads to weed thru them, so I thought I would ask our questions and await answers.

1. Although the tickets say "no coolers", I have been told that you can carry on a small collapsible cooler. We are thinking about taking some soda, bottled water and beer onboard. ARE YOU SURE THAT WILL BE OK???

2. I really love Tommy Bahama clothes. I know they are manufactured in China, but are TB dresses, shirts, etc. available in Nassau? Less expensively than in the USA???

3. Where is a good place in Nassau to shop for gold jewelry -- chains, ankle bracelets, bracelets, toe rings? Do the places in Nassau have toe rings?

4. Although 3 of the 4 of us are NON smokers, one cruiser smokes. Where are the best places for our smoking cruiser to go to smoke?????

5. The tickets say that "alcohol purchased onboard may not be consumed during the cruise". It doesn't say anything about alcohol purchased in Nassau -- if we purchase rum, etc. in Nassau, can we drink it onboard the Wonder?

6. I have been told that aqua shoes are not a necessity for swimming at CC. What about the dolphin swim at Blue Lagoon? What about beach towels -- do we need to bring our own towels to the Blue Lagoon dolphin swim???

Well, I think that's it for now. Of course, after I send this I will probably think of other questions, but I will save them for another message. Thanks in advance for everyone's help!:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Just returned from May 12 Wonder:

2. Nassau main street walking distance from ship has alot of stores
3. I smoked in the Club and on deck 9 and 10

Any other questions, email me raisin64@aol.com

Is it possible for you to relay a message for me to someone on wonder. Thanks

Thanks so much for the info. We all really appreciate it. Only 3 more weeks. We can hardly wait. We have been on cruises before, just not a Disney cruise. Sure this won't be the last Disney cruise!! Thanks again.

By the way, who do you want a message delivered to?:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I just got back from the wonder this month and I took a cooler packed with coke, I didn't carry it on the ship though, I sent it up with the porter, as long as there is no ice in it they will take it. I have to say though I would never bother doing that again, I would just buy the cup for the unlimited soda, to much bother for me to bother with the cooler, I like to pack as light as possible and not bring extra anything I won't need... soda cup is not that expensive and I would do that.

Thanks for the info. I am not really concerned too much about soda, but my husband will be taking some beer for those times while I'm getting ready for dinner, etc. I am concerned about fresh bottled water (I have to have my water!), so I will be taking some.

Thanks again for the info.:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We are going on the Dolphin Encounter on the 06/09 Wonder too!! Did you ever get an answer to your question #6?

Thanks!
Diana

No, I never did get a reply to my question #6. I guess I will bring the aqua shoes -- just in case! They really don't take up much room in a suitcase.

What cabin on the ship do you have? My husband and I have 6011 and my mother and her friend have 6013. My husband and I will be celebrating 25 years of wedded bliss!

Hope to see you on the ship!:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We are in 6141, that is the same level, but the other side of the ship! We will be on our honeymoon, we are having a Fairy Tale Wedding at the Polynesian on June 6th. We will probably meet each other on the Dolphin Encounter. I'm bringing my water shoes too, better safe than sorry.

Diana

Good for you! Congratulations!! We will definitely be looking for you onboard. When we got married, 6/11/77, Disney did NOT have Fairy Tale weddings. We did honeymoon in Disney World though -- when there was only the MK. We stayed in the treehouses on the golf course -- between the now Downtown Disney and Old Key West. I have always been a Mickey Mouse lover! I learned to say Mickey Mouse before I learned to say mommy or daddy!!!:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl:
