Hello everyone! My hubby and I will be on this cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary! This is our first Disney cruise, and we are so excited to be going to Alaska! I'm a huge Disney fan, so my husband thought it would be a great present for me. Looking forward to meeting everyone. And this is my first post!

Hi Dis boards! I'm from So Cal, I've been going to Disneyland since I was a child, and that's been for a long time! I'm a racewalker who has been doing marathons and half marathons since 1996, with my first Disney race being the Disneyworld 1998 marathon. I've done lots of full and half marathons, but my fav are the Disney races. I've done the Disneyland half marathon since the inaugural race ( it's in my backyard!) the wine and dine half in Orlando 3 times, but my fav race of disney is WDW marathon weekend. I've done the Goofy challenge 6 times, I missed the second offering of the race cause the first one scared me!
Anyway we are thrilled to be going on our Alaskan cruise! Thanks for responding to me! Hope to meet you all on the cruise!

I haven't heard many reviews that are negative. We just booked the Klondike experience and looking forward, me at least, to an afternoon of puppies and then both of us looking forward to gold panning

Hello All. My DW and I just booked this cruise today; it is going to be our late honeymoon (we married last year but were not able to go on a honeymoon after the wedding). My DW just found out about the FE gift exchange, and she really wants to be a part of it (she loves crafting/giving). Is it open to anyone? If so, how do we sign up for it? Any help/advice would be wonderful. Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this question- this is my first post. Thanks! I hope this trip is as magical as everyone is making it out to be (I'm sure it will be). We are both so excited!!!

Hello wdwmracewalker, here are the excursions we picked: Skagway - White Pass Railway/Yukon Suspension Bridge, Juneau - Helicopter Glacier Walkabout, Ketchikan - my DH and DD are going Halibut Fishing. I haven't decided what I want to do in Ketchikan since I won't be going fishing. Hope this helps.

Hi, everyone! We (DH and I) just now booked this Sept 2 Alaska trip-- this will be our sixth on DCL and the first for the Wonder (the only ship we've not travelled on thus far). Excited! We just got off the 14 day DCL East Bound Transatlantic on the "old" Magic and are booked for the West Bound next September '14 on the "new" Magic with about 60 or so of the same crazy travelers. We are from the Chicago area.

Is there a doc on DISboards with names, staterooms, places? I started one on Facebook so we could know a bit about each other. I've found on other cruises it's easier to have just one doc with the info, so if you do not have a Facebook account, I'll be glad to add your info if you give your names, where you live, and cabin # or GTY if it has not been assigned yet.
