I am trying to plan Palo Dinner and wondering what the restaurant rotation is for the four night cruise. Thanks!:)

There are three dining rotations for each of the seatings. You won't know your exact rotation until you check in at the terminal. You will go to one restaurant on your 1st night, a different restaurant on your 2nd night, repeat the 2nd night's restaurant on your 3rd night (Pirate Night) and then move on to the 3rd restaurant on your last night. So, the schedule is 1-2-2-3.

Oh, wow, okay, thank you! I had orig. made Palo ressies for last night (Wed.) but maybe should switch to (Thur.) so that we don't miss one of the rotation restaurants. This is my sister's first DCL cruise and I don't want her to miss out on the three main restuarants.:thumbsup2

But you won't be on board for Thursday night.... unless you're planning on being a stowaway!:scared1: You must have meant 'Tues' ?

Any night that you go to Palo is great. You really won't be missing much, just don't book it on Pirate night (which is the 3rd night).

We were'nt overly impressed with Animaters Palate. The atmosphere was alot of fun. But we really did'nt care for the menu selection. We even skipped dessert that evening. Guess it's just a taste thing. I would deffinately try it again, although I don't think my kids would mind missing it.

We booked on Pirate Night because:
A) We're not really into pirates (sorry!).
B) We don't want to miss a regular rotation restaurant.
C) Since we're normally late dining, we booked Palo early so we can be sure to get to the deck show (again with the not into pirates thing, but I am into dessert buffets and fireworks and Mickey!).

SeattleGirl: That is a great idea! I will look into early Palo ressies for Pirate night:thumbsup2

I agree, AP's menu is terrible. That is the only night where I don't walk out of the restaurant stuffed (which maybe is good thing...)

It is cool to see the color change, but I could do without that menu.

Thanks for posting this question.

I was wondering which night to schedule our Palo dinner, and this thread provided me with the right information.

We booked for Pirate night, too. We're just not into that deck party. We've been to it once and IMO it is too crowded and too loud. I'm glad everyone else enjoys it though, as it seems to be a very popular addition to the itinerary.

Your so welcome! I thought my fellow Diser's would have great advice and they sure did:thumbsup2 I am gonna miss the Pirate Menu though while dining at Palo but that's okay.pirate:

We had the early seating, 6:30. Sunday night was Parrot Cay, then Tritons on Mon, Tues was Pirate night and Tritons, then Wed night was AP. We booked brunch at Palo since it was our first cruise..didn't want to miss any of the restaurants. But, if I had to do it again, I would either book an early dinner on Pirate night, or miss AP on Wed night. AP was okay, but it was the lesser of all the meals we had.

Can't you order anything from the different restaraunts if you had something previously that you enjoyed-say at Tritons? I thought I read that somewhere. So say I didn't like what was on the menu at AP, then I could ask for something different from the Triton menu.:coffee:

You can ask but you aren't guaranteed to get it. The servers do a lot of running around at dinner but they will do what they can to make your meal all you want it to be. Bottom line, it never hurts to ask.

When I was on the Wonder a few years ago there was an evening where I did not find anything on the dinner menu that appealled to me. My server offered to get me any food from any of the restaurants that I wanted.

You won't know your rotation until you board. But you DO know you will be in Nassau Monday night. Palo has a wonderful nighttime view of the Atlantis resort all lit up. You won't get that any other night.

Don't get desperate!!!

Yoou can actually call Disney to ask them about you dining rotation and they will tell you!!! At least they told me!!!!!

Try to book Palo in the night of the restaurant that you'll go twice and NEVER EVER lose the Pirates night!!!!!!

Just be aware that you rotation can change up until the sail date. It's not probable but it is possible. One recent poster was even switched from the Main dinner rotation to the Late rotation just a day or so before they sailed and they didn't find out about the change until they got to the terminal. Again, it's not likely, but it is possible.
