We were really happy to see that we basically were motionless the night before . . .if there was motion, we didnt feel it at all . . .We woke up to find ourselves at Castaway Cay. We all donned our bathing suits and cover-ups and headed to b-fast.
After b-fast we got off and saw Castaway Cay for the first time. What a beautiful island! The water was absolutely gorgeous! We headed to the family beach area where there were plenty of lounge chairs available and walked down to the water . . .We had all intentions on snorkeling and renting the tubes, but the water was COLD! There was no way I was even going to attempt swimming . . .I would say it was most likely around 70 72 degrees . . .brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! After walking around a bit, we headed off to the game room (we actually just stumbled upon it) where we played pool, ping-pong, basketball shooting and shuffleboard. Before we knew it, it was lunch time . . .We had lunch at Cookies BBQ and enjoyed the burgers and ribs . . .they even had those huge chocolate chip cookies and soft serve ice cream for dessert! The food was heavenly! After lunch we did some shopping at Sea Shells and took several pics before returning to our cabin to shower and get ready for our dinner.
Dinner was at Parrot Cay and it was Pirate Night! Which meant another deck party and fireworks tonight! I couldnt believe the fireworks . . .it was pretty cool seeing them come right off the top of the Wonder . . .The cruise was getting better and better for us. Deck 9 became DS favorite hang-out (where the free food was) he was always offering to get us something to drink or eat . . .he really enjoyed himself!
After the fireworks were over, we again retired to our cabin where we had another good night.
