Won a dream...need your help!

Last Saturday, my DD4 was chosen to start the Illuminations fireworks while we were eating at Rose and Crown. It was a beautiful, special moment that was made possible by the wonderful staff at Rose and Crown. I will post pics and the story later, but this post I needed to do ASAP.
They gave us a certificate signed by the staff with my DD's name and the dream that she won. I thought that I packed it safely in the suitcase, but I cannot find it anywhere. It was a once in a lifetime occasion, and I had plans to frame the certificate and put it in her room. How would I go about finding out if I could get another certificate?

I already contacted lost and found at my hotel-they did not find anything in our room.

PS Also with the certificate were the pics that we got at the Norway Storybook Lunch. My 2 girls with Belle. Can I get duplicates of these pics-I will pay for them but I don't know if it is possible to get them. Can I, and if so, how would I do that?

Thanks for you help-I am so upset at myself for misplacing these wonderful souvenirs from our trip, I would love to be able to replace them.

Did you get the photos added to your photopass? If you did then you can purchase them through the photopass site or better yet for a little more $ you can purchase the CD and print them at your local photo place for pennies and get copies for grandparents etc as well.

***OT...just a tip for those who aren't aware...if you purchase a photo package at a meal etc then you can have those added to your photopass. They usually add all of the shots taken (they usually take 3or4 I think and only sell you the best one) and you can then make unlimited copies in any size if you purchase the CD. To have the pics added simply take the purchased package and your photopass card to a photopass centre. There is a code number on the boarder of the pic and they will link that with your photopass card.

I called Guest Relations and told them what happened. Disney sent me replacements for everything! A new folder with all of the pics, and a new Dream Certificate (this time with Tinkerbelle pin pinned to it). They got all of the CM'S at Rose and Crown to sign it.
When I got the packages, I cried and explained to my husband that this is one of the many reasons that we will continue to go back to Disney, year after year. Magic.

My van was broken into (off Disney property) as we were driving home (to canada) and the goofs took my girls YOMD collector pin sets we were all crushed. I sent Disney an e mail and they (a few e mails and phone calls later) replaced the pins! I had pictures of the girls wearing them. and Disney replaced them. I crfied! They cried! You gotta love the service at Disney. man those people are amazing. going back this august 2009 can't wait!

I love this, it's such an amazing thing. Disney is a wonderful place. It's inspired so many people. I'm going to go to college for Hospitality and Tourism and work there one day. I want to make magic for others like they have for myself.

I have a story to add too!

Last December, in 2008, we were at the Polynesian eating at Kona and I had my new HD video camera out and was taking video. I put it away in the case but I forgot and left it there unknowingly. Fast forward 2 days later and my husband and I are like, where is the video camera? We were still at Disney so we called and went back and NOTHING. We checked all of the lost and founds and nothing. We were told to call back in a few days because stuff gets turned in all of the time.

At this point we were not hopeful. We were SO sad, because this was a trip we took with my parents, and the first time that they had ever been to Disney with us, and with my kids. (My mom and dad had only been one other time, for 1 day during a biz trip not the same) Anyway, so we had our trip video on there, and video of the past few months of my kids doing all of their important things, plays, dance, figure skating competition etc.

We were DEVASTATED. I felt a real, true loss. We got back home around Dec 14th and called everyday for 10 days and still nothing. I had lost all hope and I was beginning to try to recover. the holidays came and went and on Dec 26th we got a call from the POLYNESIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY HAD OUR FREAKIN CAMERA!!! Intact, in the case, with everything still A-OK. OMG I was screaming. I was crying. They shipped it back to us free of charge via Fed Ex overnight, so I had it the next day. it was the BEST holiday present ever!

I love Disney forever and ever. Its magic.

Well one night we were ready to go to bed and we could not find my son's two Webkinz his dog and cat. The dog was named Jason and it was his favorite. He was heartbroken, I could not imagine what happened to them. Well I went to the desk and filled out the lost and found forms because we were leaving the next day. My son was very upset that he lost his prize possesions. About two week after we were home I got a call from Disney. They toys had apparently been swept up with the sheet and taken to the laundry. So Disney shipped them back to us and my son was thrilled. I told him that his Webkinz were not ready to leave Disney so they decided to stay a while longer with Mickey. So don't ever think that if you lose something there that it can't be found.

My family friends were in the same situation on a DCL Cruise, they had two young sons, and one of the boys lost their prized favourite absoloute would-not-sleep-without-at-night toy. It turned out that it had been swept up with the sheets. Unfortunately it wasn’t found, but Disney replaced the boys bear with a new Dale toy. They also gave a Dale toy to the little boys brother.
