I need a rainjacket that is light enough for daytime an warm enough for cool nights in December at Disney. I see long range is showing rain for early December. I would like something that covers my butt and is rain proof. All prices

Columbia has some nice lined choices. I've seen them in Belk, Academy, and Amazon this year.

December is hard because the weather can vary so much. I ended up buying a winter coat during our 2010 trip when it got really cold a few days...and we swam other days.

I like gore tex type rain jackets.... they feel like a regular windbreaker but they're waterproof, much more useful for general wearing.... and layering/packing.I have a columbia brand , other in the fam have Lands End.... just look for waterproof, not resistant when buying. On sale/clearance it's about 35.00- I layer sweaters, etc underneath if needed also.

I ordered this -- Paradox Waterproof & Breathable Women's Rain Jacket -- from Amazon back in April when I was in a pinch; we were going on vacation and my someone stole my Helly Hansen rain jacket from work, so I ordered this one and had it Primed to our hotel. The initial reason I was posting it for you was because I only paid $13.48 for it, but the link shows the price has raised significantly since then. As a complete aside, I once bought my daughter a $7 Hatley Splash Jacket on Amazon that retailed for $60:woohoo: It was definitely a pricing error as they honored my order, but were quick to correct the price to what it should have been: $47. I'll be bringing the Paradox jacket along for our next Disney trip (December 3rd!) as it's long enough to cover my rear, and while it's not lined with a warm material and is breathable, I was warm in it when I wore it here last week; it was 46° and raining). I also plan on bringing a lightweight hooded Michael Kors jacket that I have just in case the temperature takes a very wintery dip while we're there. Packing for December is tricky.
