I have seen lots of posts regarding proper attire for the guys, But, what do most women wear??? I would love to do some early shopping! :cheer2: I hate last minute pressure! :rotfl: But, I am wondering what the appropriate womens attire is?? Can someone give me some examples/suggestions?? Thanks for any help! :cheer2:

I packed way toooooo much! I like to have choices. I took a nice black cocktail dress for formal night and Palo. It was dressy enough to be dressy, but not full length gown dressy. For semi formal night, I wore black slacks with a strapless kind of beaded top. You will see everything from just normal dinner dress to full on formal. It's all OK though. Wear what you will be comfortable in. As for around the ship... casual and comfortable is the norm. We are going for 14 days in August, and I'm sure I will have to do laundry, but, I am planning on giving myself lots of choices again.... It's easy when it's warm weather clothes. You can fit a lot of shorts and tank tops in a suitcase. Have fun, and be yourself. Wear what makes you comfortable..... Have a great time!

I tried to pack like a minimalist (I am no a minimalist by any means). I packed more blouses and shirts than I did shorts/ capris. I wore my causal blouses for dinner and saved my t-shirts for daytime. I packed three or four pairs of shoes. One pair I packed were my tennis shoes, but I mostly wore my nice sandals to dinner. Also, pack two swimsuits for everyone. That way you aren't wearning a damp ss the next day.

One idea for you to try, go through other DISers' vacation photos. That could give you an idea of what to pack. Try not to stress yourself out about what to pack.

If you plan to go to Palo be sure to pack a nice dress or two piece outfit and nice shoes.

Be prepared to be treated like a queen onboard. Have a great time.

The four night is easy, there is no formal night so you dont have to bother with all that stuff....I packed some capris and one pair of black slacks and shirts...one pair of black shoes and white sandals for all other times....

I just went on the 4 day a month ago. I lived in flip flops and a bathing suit and cover up all day. Then for dinner, I brought three sundresses and one pair of nice white sandals. After dinner, I went back to the room to switch to my flat casual white sandals to walk around the rest of the night in, but stayed in my sundress. Here's where I bought the dresses: keywestfashions.com
A fantastic store to work with...I called to order, and asked them a million questions about sizing, they were very helpful. If it didn't fit, I just sent it back, very easy. They were SO comfortable every night. You'll have a blast!

I just got back from the May 15th Wonder. I packed 4 sun dresses. 2 were long two were shorter. Very comfortable and cool tropical colors. I saw alot of people dressed this way.

I mostly wore shorts and my bathing suit during the day as we did lots of pool time.

Jillpie, Thanks! I checked out that site and they really have some cute things! Do the sizes run pretty true?
Thanks for everyones help! :cheer2:

I really want to wear a black cocktail dress for our Palo night, on the Wonder. It will be our anniversary on the cruise and I want to dress nice. Will I be over dressed?

Your welcome! Yes, they run very true to size. I just finished losing 80 lbs since last June, so I was very excited to shop right before this cruise. I wasn't sure about my size, but it turned out I was right. So go with your gut, (so to speak), and order your usual size. They are so nice over the phone. Good luck!

Three of the four nights, I wore capris and either a sleeveless shirt or a polo type shirt. The night we went to Tritons I wore a tropical sundress that had a little jacket with it. I wore the same sandels everynight. During the day I wore mostly shorts and tank tops or tshirts. Take two swimsuits for everyone so you have a dry one to put on. Have a great trip!!!!

I brought 2 pairs of black pants, one of them capris. I also bought another pair of tan capris for Parrot Cay dinner and wore with a tropical shirt.

I also brought a black jacket, a couple of nice tops. One pair of black healed sandals. That was really all that was needed for dinners.

We cruised in Dec and the ship was decorated for Christmas. Tried to coordinate for pics near the tree.
