She's super lucky to have only lost her arm.
Sharks live in the ocean. Humans are not the top of the aquatic food chain.
Please, let's not go killing all sharks now like they did to the gators at Disney.

I read, also, that neither of them had passports (well, it's ONLY a Bahamas cruise), and they didn't get trip insurance. The medivac flight was $16,000. Apparently the company in question decided to waive the cost.

They were extremely lucky in many respects.
