Woman dies on Six Flags Roller Coaster

I have to agree with the poster above. Six Flags operating procedures are not the best from what I have seen as well. I remember when they took over a local amusement park. It went down hill fast. I saw ride attendants push the start button then go back to reading a magazine. I saw to ride attendants screaming and yelling at each other on how they were going to load the ride. I saw it again when I was riding a different ride. I was pretty much done with the park at that point.

Just revisiting an old thread, but today I saw a few riders on a similar ride being denied because they couldn’t get the lap bar down properly. This ride went into service in its current form (a Rocky Mountain Construction I-Box retrofit) after the New Texas Giant incident, and it had a seat belt from the start. Ive ridden this ride over a dozen times and I never sensed that there was lack of attention paid to safety.
