Wolfgang Puck Express=any discounts?

I'm all set with adrs for my trip in 7 weeks and have pretty much got a plan for discounts everywhere I plan to eat except WPE. I'll have TIW,AP and DVC available to me. Hey, AAA and Disney Visa if that helps! Anyone know of anything?

Maybe AAA. Not entirely sure. DVC and annual passholders used to be able to get 10%, I think they still can but haven't tried it lately. TIW, no.

The portion sizes are huge there and would be super easy to share.

I think I got 20% with my DVC and I think it is 10% for AP . I was giving her my AP and she saw my DVC card and said " You get more if you show me your DVC card"

Also the DVC discount at EOS is now just 10% instead of 20 but oh well better then nothing right ??

This is a great tip!

We like to save a TS for the day we fly out. What we did this last trip was pay OOP at Wolfgang Pucks Express for one diner during the week. The pricing there is very reasonable for Disney.

This will make it even more of a value.

After reading your comment, I went to the Costco site as well. It says “Not valid at Wolfgang Puck Express Gelson's locations”. What do they mean by “Gelson’s”? Does that mean it not valid at all Express locations, or does it mean that it is not valid at some Express locations?

I tried searching on Gelson’s. There is an upscale supermarket chain in California called Gelson’s. I wonder if some of them have Wolfgang Puck Express’s inside. Maybe the card is not valid there, but is valid at other Express locations.

Does anybody know if this might be the case?

I went to the Gelson’s supermarket website, and all of their locations have Wolfgang Pucks Express listed as a service available inside. So, I’m hoping that the Costco Wolfgang Puck gift card is good at the non Gelson’s Express locations.

Are you guys sure about the AP? I was thinking about paying OOP for my meals for my Sept trip (instead of using the DDP like I usually do). The other day I went to the AP web site and printed off all the dining discounts. I'm looking at it right now and it lists the Wolfgang Puck Cafe Westside, but nothing about WGP Express. Of course we all know how accurate WDW's site is.

And this is why I come to my Disney peeps for the real info! I hate to read later that a discount was available but not listed but I also dislike standing at checkout time holding out all my cards like a poker hand.

I agree! With it not being listed on the AP site as a place where you can get the discount, I've never thought to show my AP. Good to know now!
