No, not snow. White toilet paper!!!!!! Everywhere!!!!! Next door neighbor got hit also. We live at the end of the cul de sac so people think there is a great white abyss while driving down the street.

DS and next door neighbor(both seniors) are on the cross country team and evidently the 'girls cross country team is #1.' At least that is what they wrote on the drive way. They seran wrapped his car and wrote messages to him all over the car. I must say that this is a much whiter job than last year. For some reason, they hit juniors last year also. Well, I know that Paybacks are hell!!! Anyway, DS just walked in with 15 boys and they are outside cleaning it up. I should run and make some lemonade for the "volunteers" It is going in the 90's again today.

I can't really get too upset. I don't have to clean it up. Anyone need some toilet paper??

My SO's nephew gets in the moods to roll our yard sometimes. He thinks it's hilarious.

Just had to run out and stop the boys from burning the paper up the tree(a trick that the cross country coach shared). Of course it hasn't rained here for weeks and we would like to keep the trees. Any other suggestions of removing it.

First off I'm sorry but I laughed at your last post. Good thing you stopped them. No suggestions here other then pulling. Did you get pictures?

if you hose it down it should fall apart and off the tree... but then it'd be LOTS of fun to pick up so maybe that's not a good idea. :jester:

Yes, I took pictures.

Spago, about an hour or so before you posted the boys came up with that idea, except they had a little extra twist to it. They used the power washer. It came down in a matter of seconds. Because of the heat, it didn't take long to dry. They had a glass of lemonade from me and a popsicle from my neighbor and then they finished picking up the yard. The poor rookies on the team. They had no idea what they were in for when joining cross country. The seniors make the rookies wait on them for everything.

Well, the brown grass can be seen again. I feel like everything is back to normal, at least until the revenge.

that's too funny! i remember being in high school and my friends and i all had this goofy tradition. when it was your birthday, you got a "surprise" party, ok...not really a surprise cuz you knew it was coming...anyway, and then the we'd all go out for pizza at a place called happy joe's (in des moines) after youth group on wednesday nights, and then you would get toilet papered. not all of these events usually happened on the same night though. it was good natured fun and we would help clean up the next day. but the best one i have to say actually happened to me on my birthday!

first off, the group went out for pizza as usual. then, of course, i'm expecting my party. well, nothing happened for a few days. then my boyfriend at the time, who is now my fiance, conspired with my parents. they decided to take me out to dinner to a really nice restaurant. we had my best friend babysit my brother and sister. they took me to the iowa beef house (realy good at the time!) for dinner. we got all dressed up...then afterwards, mom just had to stop off a kmart. so here i am in a dress that i had worn to my semi-formal the year before walking around kmart with my boyfriend. real cool, huh? we then head for home. mom and dad decide that we should watch a movie of my choice. so once home, they sent me downstairs to the basement to get the vcr ready. as i came down the stairs, all of my friends screamed "surprise" and i about had a heart attack!! it was very cool!!

and now i'm expecting the dreaded tp job i know they're going to do. when i woke up the next morning, i discovered that i had been "forked"...translation...my boyfriend's mom ran a cinnamon roll bakery place in the mall. he managed to get a great big, and i mean big, bag of plastic forks. he came over to my house and stuck them all in my front yard! and then he wrote, in shaving cream, on dad's new driveway, "happy birthday scarlett!" (he called me scarlett way back then, still does!) you can still faintly see the happy birthday scarlett today when you drive by the house!

so now i tease him every year. i tell him that i expect to be "forked" for my birthday...he would send me e-mails of plastic forks!!

Haha...toilet papering houses is fun...lol...

My friend's house got hit twice during basketball playoffs. His brother and him are HUGE Lakers fans, and someone came along and did an amazing job of covering his front yard, along with writing in sidewalk chalk lots of negative Lakers comments. Although I am a Lakers fan, it was hilarious to see.

Our house hasn't gotten hit in many years, though.

Our house hasn't been hit before but we have seen some pretty nice white yards around my neighborhood. One time my friends house got done with TP, shaving cream, chocolate syrup, and forks. The Senior Girls didn't like her older sister (who was a junior at the time, but is now in college), and write some pretty bad stuff on her driveway. The house was TPed REALLY good though, took a while to get it all cleaned up.

We have also been forked, tuna fished, and had bird seed thrown all over the place. (Open your door and there are 100's of birds in your yard) These cross country kids must think of all their antics while running all those miles.

HAHHA i like that bird seed idea, thanks bfeller.. LOOK OUT SAN DIEGO, rebels on the loose... ;)

When my Dad and Step Mom were married their friends TP'd our yard. We had over 4 acres with a lot of trees and I swear all of them were covered!!! They then "kidnapped" my parent's, drove them into town and wheelbarrowed them down the middle of main street late at night, making all kinds of racket. While they were gone a few people stayed behind to take all the labels off our cans. We were eating mystery food for months. It became a family joke.

Since we were merging two families my parents recieved a huge box, think industrial size, of toilet paper. We had enough TP to use for our own TP projects for years! :)

LOL - and I thought my cross country team was out of control!! There are only a few seniors on the team this year .. but I just got some pretty good ideas ;) hehe

Yikes.. sounds like a real mess. Pics of that would be interesting to see.

bobcat, can't believe that your friends would do such a thing. Mystery food does sound fun. Now how can the boys cross country team get into the girl's houses?????

Lola, any ideas of what the boys can do to the senior girls? When they are on their cross country camp out, they always take the girls shorts while they are swimming. What out of control things does your team do?
