Some stores just repeat items. Target has had the same specials fro about 3 years now.. the art sets at $3 are the same art sets for the past three years.

The beyblade set was on somebodys BF list last year, and the Easy Bake as well.

The sale prices don't seem as great as I expected. Most of those are the same items they have on sale every few months. I'll probably be there anyways, just for the excitement.

I think it was Toys R Us, but it might have been AC Moore (don't know if you have those in your area). One of them had it on sale for 30% off and they had mailed me a coupon for 20% off any item including sale items. Both stores have been having a lot of sales lately. I know Toys R Us has advertised a "one week only" sale where you get a $10. gift card with any purchase of $75. plus you can get a giant shrek toy for $5.-. This sale has been going on for the last two weeks straight.

Keep looking, they seem to be on sale everywhere.

You can always try Ebay. There are always people selling magnetic construction toys there.

I too have noticed the sales are not as great this year as last. Can't shop BF.....have to work ....but, instead of spending money, I'll be making it.....lots of it!! BF is very busy day for me!!! By the way, if anyone is planning on buying a PlayStation 2 system, be forewarned there is a shortage this year. We went to buy one at TRU last Saturday and they were sold out! Nearest store to them...sold out! Online...sold out!! I was able to call Monday to see if any came in on their truck that morning.....they got 3! 3! They were able to hold one for me and when I went to pick it up, I asked the dude what the deal was why they were out of stock all over the place?! He said since Sony started making the newer PS2s (slimmer and lighter), there must not have been enough stock of the older ones to carry them thru the production and delivery of the new ones. So, if you know of anyone planning on purchasing a PS2 for Xmas, better tell them to get it while they can. I can just imagine someone going crazy the week before Christmas trying to get one of these!!
