We have a studio with preferred view at the BWV. I was wondering if there's a specific floor/room area we could request to see fireworks. Also, we want to be near the laundry facilities. Any helpful information would be appreciated! Thanks!

Most preferred view studios will be around the pools or the canal to Hollywood Studios, so possible firework view would be the Fantasmic show at the Studios. Seeing fireworks from MK or Epcot usually requires a Boardwalk view room although there might be some Epcot fireworks viewable from preferred view studios overlooking the Village Green. Some of the upper floor resort view (former standard view) rooms might have a view of the higher Epcot fireworks. Since the laundry facilities are on the ground floor near the elevator lobby, rooms near the elevators are the best option. The rooms overlooking the Village Green are reasonably near the elevators. Unfortunately, those rooms are relatively few in number. Some rooms overlooking the Luna Park pool might also be nearer to the elevators but these may not be great in terms of viewing Fantasmic fireworks because of landscaping and other parts of the building blocking views.

Request Village Green view because those rooms have a view of Epcot fireworks and a partial Boardwalk view. There are 4 floors, all preferred view studios, there, so you will have a decent chance of getting one. Higher floors with Village Green will be even better view of Epcot fireworks but if you make 2 requests you risk getting higher floor that is not also Village Green. The Village Green view rooms are very close to the elevators and the laundry room is on first floor just to the right of the elevators.

I remember seeing fireworks from standard view rooms, but I don't know which are harder to get-standard view or Boardwalk view.

Likely this was views of Fantasmic toward the tennis courts? Or perhaps high floors facing the entrance driveway looking over the Inn and trees?

Yes - the standard view rooms farther down the end and on higher floors that face the entrance driveway area can see the fireworks from Epcot over the Boardwalk hotel...some are a bit cut off at the bottom, but the higher floor you're on, the better the view.

It was nearer the entrance than the tennis courts. I remember looking straight I had a view of the Bus Stop. And I'm sure that the fireworks I saw were the ones at Epcot. I miss the good old days when non-owners could get Standard view at Boardwalk, Boardwalk view at Boardwalk, and Value Studios at Jambo.

yup driveway/entrance view. Little known that you can see the top fireworks.

We just returned from boardwalk view room and only my had partial view of fireworks from Epcot. We own at BWV so we have had better rooms with better fireworks view. Preferred view will not usually get fireworks view though

Unfortunately some guests, when told they can see the Epcot fireworks from BWV, think they'll have a view similar to GF and Poly view of the MK fireworks. At best, from BWV you can see only the high fireworks, not the ones lower down.
