Woefully Uninformed - Prince's Names?

I thought Snow White's Prince was Charming - when she is at the well & is kinda dreaming she says that the Prince is Charming

wasn't the line "and everyone could see that the prince was charming, the only one for me"

I could have sworn I saw somewhere that Snow White's prince's name was Ferdinand...

Now, that's not from the movie, mind you. He's simply The Prince in the movie. But I thought I saw the name "Ferdinand" here on the Dis at some point...

Come to think of it, is Cinderella's prince ever called Prince Charming in the movie? I can't recall...is he also only referred to as The Prince??

Ferdinand is one of the most popular unofficial names for the Snow Prince (and what I call him in my head) but officially, he's just the Prince.

From the Disney Wiki:
At the 1938 Oscars, Shirley Temple mentions the name "Ferdinand" among others while presenting Walt Disney his awards. Many have interpreted that she was referring to the Prince; thus, that Ferdinand is his name. However, she was not referring to him, but to another character, Ferdinand the Bull.

As confirmed by Dave Smith, Historian of the Walt Disney Studio Archives, the Prince was never given a name in the film and "Ferdinand" has never been used as one by the company.

The name "Florian" originates from this article. It was allegedly used by Disney when it started the Disney Princess franchise. This story is unproven.

There is an unproven story that there are documents in the Walt Disney Studio Archives that call the Prince "Frederick."

The Enchanted Stables collection reveals his white horse is a mare named "Astor."

Several years ago, Cinderella told my son Henry that it was the name of her prince as well. I don't know if she was just flattering him, but why would she say that, otherwise?
