It is standing room only. Typically, they will let you sit while you are waiting for a while and as the area starts to fill and showtime gets closer they will come through and ask everyone to stand up. I imagine the time line to show up will depend at least a bit on what time of year you go and how crowded or empty the parks are. We go in the summer months. I am short, so for me to see something other than the back of the person in front of me, I need to be down front. We go in the wet zone to the front row and wear ponchos if we think we will be chilly if we get wet (and if the wind is blowing the right way, you can get really wet). Prior to this year,we have typically gotten there about 45 minutes before the show- if you wanted a front spot above the wet zone, those are typically gone by the time we get there. We have never had trouble getting a front spot in the wet zone in that time frame. This year, we were there in July and with the new WOC show it looked like people were lining up for the dining package area earlier and it was getting crowded earlier. We went ahead and got in line 60 minutes before show time right before they opened the area (instead of walking in after it was already open 45 minutes before the show). We still got our front row wet zone spot, but the exact spot we have had every other year was already taken, and the are was filling up faster than it had in the past. I don't know if that will continue into the fall, but it certainly looked like the fact there is a brand new entirely different version of the show, was getting bigger crowds there earlier.
