WOC Viewing Balcony at GCH

Is the balcony open to all GCH guests or j u st DVC guests. I have heard any guests of the hotel can go up to that balcony and I have also heard it is only for DVC members. Which is true?

YES...the WOC viewing balcony on the 6th floor is open to all GCH guests! Perhaps it only seems like it would be for DVC guests because it is located @ the wing of the DVC Villas which I have stayed in a few times right NEXT to the balcony! Proud DVC member!

Was just there last night (as a GCH guest -- just needed room key card). It's a side-view, so we couldn't see the projections on the water screens. But we did see the projections on big Mickey head on the wheel. The sound was VERY poor -- there are speakers on the viewing deck, but they were either off or turned down low -- we could not understand any of the narration. But the view of the colorful fountains were quite beautiful.

Thank you both for your responses! We are arriving mid-day on a Sunday and are not entering the parks until Monday, so we thought that would be fun to do on our first night there. Sort of a preview!
