WOC questions

How soon before the WOC does the fastpass tell you to return and how specific is the location they tell you to return to? I had a very bad experience at Fantasmic years ago so I don't usually watch shows but would like to see WOC. In order for me to feel comfortable watching I need to know everything. Any Info about WOC would be appreciated!

You can arrive to your section up to an hour before the start of show. Your ticket will be color coded so if you are in section blue you get to pick seats anywhere in that section.

To answer when, I'd suggest being there at least 15 minutes before the return time as that's when they let people in. The actual return window on the ticket is 1.5 to .5 hours before the show.

But the thread will tell you about the strategies to see the show.

Thank you for the link and info, I looked for a thread before I posted and couldn't find it before my computer would freeze on me. I'm holding out on buying a new one because I rather visit DLR.

I will tell you to make sure you listen to what is written there! Our waiter told us to go around 15 minutes before the show started (FP said no earlier than 30 minutes). Glad we went around 45 minutes, though. They had already opened the sections, and everything had started to fill up, but we were able to find a spot close to the front of the PD section. I looked behind us about 15 minutes later, and the place was packed. You don't have to "line up" early, just make sure you get there around 15 to 30 minutes (at least) before the time stated on the FP. Have fun! I hate that your experience with Fantasmic wasn't great. We love that show!

This isnt entirely correct as there arent any seats - you stand to watch the show. However you do go to the colour coded area on your ticket

As soon as the park opens, and technically if you're staying on-site at a Disney hotel, you can get it about 30 minutes before that! If you want to get really technical, you can preorder a WOC picnic and have your FP guaranteed weeks in advance!

And by when the park opens, it's not the official 10am open you will see published. It opens at 9:30 and that's when you can get to the WoC FP distribution. Hotel guests are 30 minute before that.
