WOC pinic order question

Does anyone know how important it is to order your picnis lunch 30 days in advance?? We will be going to Disneyland in 30 days. We will be on a budget, but I really would like to get the picnic for WOC one night, I have a four year old. Do I have to order 30 days in advance?? Can I wait until the first to order? Any help would be appreciated.

It depends on when you are going and what evening entertainment offerings there are that night. If it is busier they might sell faster, however, if there are multiple shows and other evening entertainment it takes the pressure off WoC

Currently, since WoC is the only evening spectacular during the weekdays, they tend to go faster but not exactly at the 30 days mark. If you doing a short visit you could always line up for fastpasses one morning.

I just ordered mine for 2 weeks from now (A Saturday) had no problem getting what we wanted.
