I've seen a lot of discussions about the World of Color when there are 2 or 3 shows per night, but I haven't seen much detail about days when there is only one show per night. When I'm going to be at the parks, DCA will close at 8PM and the only show of WOC will be at 8:15.

Does anyone have detail of their experience when DCA closes at 8PM and WOC shows at 8:15? Some things I'd like to know are:

1. What time did you line up in the morning to get fastpasses, and how long was the wait to get them?
2. What time did the fastpasses recommend you line up for the show?
3. What time did FP's run out for that day's show?
4. What time did you line up for the show, and were a lot of people lined up?
5. If you purchased the picinic (which we are considering) what time did you pick up your picinic?
5a. What color FP did you get?
5b. What time did the picinic fastpass recommend you line up?
5c. What time did you line up for the show, and were a lot of people lined up?

30minutes seems to be a common wait now.

2. What time did the fastpasses recommend you line up for the show?

The return time on the FP was 7 to 7:45

3. What time did FP's run out for that day's show?

They seem to be running out on single show days between 11 and 1.

4. What time did you line up for the show, and were a lot of people lined up?

I would show up between 30 and 15 minutes before the return time. This will put you there in time to be there when they let people into Paradise Park.

5. If you purchased the picinic (which we are considering) what time did you pick up your picinic?

I did this, I picked them up at 11:35, you can get them from 11:30 to one hour before the first show of the night.

5a. What color FP did you get?

Yellow. You can get blue too but cannot predict when or that they will be available on any given day.

5b. What time did the picinic fastpass recommend you line up?

As I said above the return times are the same despite how you get a ticket.

5c. What time did you line up for the show, and were a lot of people lined up?Same as above.

Have you looked at the WoC Superthread? Start reading the post after September tenth to get off season accounts of the process.

1. What time did you line up in the morning to get fastpasses, and how long was the wait to get them? you should be fine if you get there when gate opens. usually not a huge line...
2. What time did the fastpasses recommend you line up for the show? 9:30ish? Dont forget, there will be hotel guest in front of you.
3. What time did FP's run out for that day's show? It varies day by day, however, it does sometimes run out within 30 mins sometimes. I would say dont take the chance and arrive early!
4. What time did you line up for the show, and were a lot of people lined up? ive walked by there a few times and i have yet to see a HUGE line...

Last week when we were there, I sent DH and DS to get FP for WOC. They arrived at DCA gates around 9:20. They opened the gates at 9:30 for WOC fastpasses only. They had their fastpasses (section yellow) and actually had to wait for the park to open (at 10am) to ride ToT.

Earlier in the week, we tried to get in line right at park opening at 10, and when we got in the long FP line, there was a CM at the end saying that the line was closed. A person in front of me said that she would like to take her chances and stay in line. The CM said we could not follow the fast pass line. And if there were fast passes after this closed line got theirs, they would not open to general guests right away.

Hope this helps!
