WOC Fastpasses

I have a couple questions about WOC Fastpasses:

I know you can only get one fastpass at a time, or wait until the Fastpass "start" time to get a new one. Is this true for WOC Faspasses? If we get one early in the morning, does that mean that is the only Fastpass we can get for the entire day (or until WOC starts)?

Also, is the line to get a WOC Fastpass really HOURS long? Does anyone have actual experience with this?

The WoC fastpass is completely separate and does not affect your ability to get other fastpasses. So, for instance, you can get a Soarin' fastpass and then a WoC one immediately after or vice versa.

I waited in the WoC fastpass line on June 20 for about 40 minutes. We weren't real jazzed about the whole thing, so we didn't rush. Really, it's just something I decided to do on a whim since the rest of the family was busy with some other stuff at the time. When I got in line, it was about 10:15, and I was standing in front of the restrooms across from Soarin'. I ended up with red section for the first show. People had already been getting fastpasses for nearly an hour before that, and hotel guests probably got in even sooner.

The WoC Fastpass does not "count" as a FP in terms of what you are asking. You can get a Soarin' FP and then go get a WoC FP, for example.

As for how long it takes to get a WoC FP, I will let someone who has been more recently address that as my experience is from the first week.

Just got back 2 days ago. the crowds were heavy. I was able to get a WOC fast pass with no wait. I walked by at 4pm and they were still availble for the late show.

I was there yesterday. DCA opened at 10:00 and I got there at 11:00. I went with the intentions of getting a WOC FP, but when I walked in that direction, the line for the WOC FP's stretched TO THE ENTRANCE TO SOARIN'. In other words...it was LONNNNNNNNNNNNNG! That was the point at which I decided to just take my chances and come back later to catch the show from an "alternate viewing area". Of course, the show was cancelled last night so I didn't get my chance.
