Hi.. I apologize in adavance if this has been asked and answered before..if so please direct me!

We have a person in our family with a disability and were thinking about seeing World of Color.. Do we need to get the fast pass or will our guest assitance card that we get from city hall work? Can only the disabled person sit and if so does the rest of your party stand near you??

Thanks in advance!! :goodvibes

You will still need to get a fast pass in order to see the show from the viewing area.

There are plenty of cast members around. Just ask a cm when you arrive and they will direct you to the correct area. They usually let you in early as well, so you can get situated before the masses rush in to grab their places.

You are allowed to watch the show with them.

carmatts is correct--you will still need fastpasses for everyone in the group. It is a viewing area that is roped off--but unfortunately the view is not very good at all. There is a big piece of equipment that blocks the view from that area.

Can you do me a favor and send me a picture or post it on here of where you are talking about? I was not aware of equipment blocking the accesible viewing.

I know that they have moved it to the rear of the amphitheater, causing reduced visibility because people are now standing in front of people that are sitting.

That being said, I would expect some changes to the accesible viewing areas soon.

Also, please note that if you do not need the benches, wheel chairs are allowed in all areas, but you will want to get a spot by the railing. For the second show those with GACs and in wheel chairs are admitted first, this is not currently the case for the first show.

You will still need a FP to use the viewing area though.

My extended family is taking my Grandma to WOC in a wheelchair. We are a group of 7. For the second showing, they will let us all into the viewing area early? Would this be the handicapped section only, or could we take her to the front rail? I'm happy to wait in line an hour early, I just want to guarantee that she is on the rail in the front. Thanks!

For the second show they will let 6 of you (you might be able to get the 7th in as well) in first and you can choose anywhere in the section that you have the FP for, it does not have to be the disabled seating. But what you do is as many as can go in forst do so, then hold some space for them and have the rest meet you.

Please note that this information is from July 23rd and could have changed since then.

I will try to post any updates to this information that I get, either from actually going or other sources as applicable.

Also, a request about the benches, they are extremely limited. If you can stand, please do so to allow those that can't stand to sit. That being said, if the bench isn't needed by the time the show is about to start, feel free to sit down. I can also see sitting down until someone comes that needs the bench, but please allow those of us that truly need it the opportunity to use it. There are places to stand beside or behind the benches.

Great advice cmwade77. Thank you!

No problem, I will post updates as I can about this.
