WOC- dining package or not

Where do you get the WOC tickets through? I know you can go online to get them, but can you also get them from travel agents as well?

I know this will sound stupid, but do you get to choose from any of the appetizers, meals, and deserts, or is it preselected? Is there any way to see the menus if it is preselected?

Yes there are several choices for apps, entrees and desserts. For sure that's the case at Carthay Circle - we just ate there last week and there were many delicious choices. I don't remember details but that also seemed the case last year at WCT when we did that package. We've never done the WOC package at Ariel's so I can't speak to that one. We prefer the princess lunch there.

It's a fast pass. You have 2 choices. Get them from the FP machine or do a WOC dining reservation and the give you fast passes for the show in the reserved dining section. My TA made my WOC dining reservation at Catharay Circle for me.

I'm wondering if the WOC super thread is current. It says to arrive 90 minutes early if you have reserved dining fast passes. Does anyone have personal experience? Are people actually arriving that early? I can only imagine how early you need to be if you have s general fast pass.

I have not been since the new show, but I have to believe this is even truer now. Yes – people who paid $$$ for their WOC package do line up 90 minutes early – I am one of them. However, there are many posts from people saying they showed up 30 minutes early and had a great spot!

We like to be belly to the rail, but I don’t think this is important to everyone. You will be allowed into your area and there will be room for you. You will not be belly to the rail, but perhaps that does not matter to you.

I am an annual pass holder so spending 90 minutes out of just one of my many days is no big deal. If I was only there once or twice a year, I probably would not do this.

We have never ever arrived more than 15 minutes before show time. That's what you are paying for. We have only done CC WOC Dining and in about 10-12 times have always had a great view from their section.

We once a few years ago arrived about 10 minutes before and my DD was 2yrs old and sleeping in my arms and I wanted to lean on the railing to hold her and rest my arms (I know I know I know I should have had a stroller or carrier but we were staying at GCH and planning on taking her back and time got away from us...) and there was plenty of room to squeeze me into the front. My husband is very tall so he just can stand anywhere. This was in June of 2013.

I wouldn't waste 90 minutes waiting when you'll see people arriving in the same section 15 minutes before the show. I've always had great CM interaction in that area too. I'm under 5 feet tall and have always had a great view in the CC Dining area. Minus the jerks holding their iPad's up as if they are getting a better video than anyone else ever has, or the 7 foot tall Dad with his daughter on his shoulders, but you can move around the Premium Dining area MUCH easier than the regular viewing.

Secret: If you find the CC area full for some reason you can ask to be moved to the WCT area. My cousin once did this, but I've never ever seen the CC area full to capacity.
