I did this a few days ago. NO cast members could tell me anything about the check-in process . That includes 3 different people in guest relations at different times. They all said, you have a reservation time in the app. Go then. My time was 9:15, which I knew from this thread was way too late. So I stopped by the water wheel around 7:30, when I saw a lady there. There were now 2 signs, checking for first show and checking for second show. She said once she finished checking in the first show, she would start to check innthe second show. There were already 10 or so in line for the second show. So I hung out, and finally got checked in around 8. 27 and 26, often mentioned here, were long gone. I was given 20, which was a high top with a great view. I was seated with a couple who were next to me in line. She said to come.back at 9:35 or 9:40 to line up on the wall and be walked to the table.
So I took my wristband and went and rode Radiator Springs, ILL, and Mater and Luigi. I got back around 9:40. I was about the last in the parade to the seats.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the dessert plate. It was very fresh and tasty. Our server was Dragon. He said we got 2 alcoholic beverages and said to order both at the same time. I got the watermelon margarita, which was tasty with a very salty rim . For the other I got the white wine, which I think they accidentally grabbed the "only use for cooking" wine. It wasn't one you would deliberately buy. But it was my first time in DCA, I was really tired, and drank it all! Dragon kept track of us, and then thanked us for the honor of serving us. I hadn't thought about a tip and discovered I had a 20 , which I slipped him as opposed to doing nothing. He looked surprised and happy.
They came around with boxes, and it all survived enough to have the leftoves for breakfast. The rice Krispy treat, coated in white chocolate and sprinkles, was the unexpected star of the show.
