WLV question

In a week I'm going to make our (11 month) reservation at WLV.
We will be staying in the studio. Can anyone tell me what to request for the best view of the lake area? Or is there such a view. We have never stayed at the WLV, so I need all of your input. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are making your reservations 11 months out, start with the most important request first.....ie.....non smoking.....pool view...fourth floor......all requests are blocked in order of importance...but at 11 months out , there should be no problems getting what you want, however there are no guarantees...

I booked a studio at WLV for January. I was told that there aren't any real great views of the Lake, so I requested a water view. I was also told higher floors are better and to request a balcony because not all rooms have balconies (which was news to me).

waterview
balcony
higher floor (not ground floor)

There are NO lake views, it is blocked by pretty thick tree cover. If your lucky, like we were, we had a great view of deer almost every day.

We had a one bedroom in August, and were near the quiet pool, with a little view of the lake in the distance. I think it was one of very few rooms with this particular view. We booked at 11 months.

The ground floor rooms have "Patios" which are about the same amount of space as a balcony. You'll still have a place to enjoy fresh air in your PJs. We had a patio room on our last visit and really enjoyed it!
