Wld love to switch POR for AKL for Feb but need better AKL rate. Help.

The rate I'm gettinng from WDW for AKL at $289 per night is $590 more than our current POR ressie for five nights. I know it is a moderate versus delux, but is there any way to get a better rate at AKL for Feb 20 (peak time)?

Unless you're a AAA member, or an annual pass holder, I don't think you'll get any better rates. And even the annual pass rates aren't guaranteed.

If you have AAA, you'll probably be able to get about 15-20% off.

The best way to get good rates are just to keep checking. And watch the USA Today, sometimes they run specials in there but you have to catch them on sundays! I have stayed at the AKL for $164/night but that was with a USA Today advertisement! Keep calling and checking!

Call and ask what their AAA and AP rates are, and if they're available the dates you want. We could get a savannah view room at AKL for $831 for 5 nights with an AP, that's only $174 per night including tax. (It is off season, but almost Thanksgiving) The AAA rates are significantly higher, but I don't know if there will be discounts available the time you're going. GOod luck!!

We got a savannah room, AP rate for $166, tax included, for mid November. And I only booked last week.
