I had WL Woods View w/bunk beds booked before the VISA code came out. I switched to WL Woods view queen beds and saved $665......

My question is.......has anyone been able to ask for a room with bunk beds at check in and recieved them w/o an extra charge?

I would like connecting rooms........do rooms with bunks connect to regular rooms? I have 2 Adults and 2 children in my room. My parents are going also and they would like a connecting room with us, just in case one dd wants to stay in their room.

I don't want a room on ground floor, right? No view. This is our first time at WL if you can't tell........I am very excited! :woohoo:

I would love to know the answer to your question!! I am in the same boat. We have a courtyard view (2 queens) booked but i sure would love the bunk beds for my DDs age 11 and 3. May i ask what your discounted price was?? I waited too late to get a woods view and was wondering how much i could have saved?? Hopefully some WL vet can answer the bunk question. It seems like a fair amount of people do get upgraded for one reason or another. Hopefully it will be us!!:goodvibes

I am almost afraid to tell you what my rate was...........what if I only think I am getting a good deal! :rotfl:

2 adults, 1 13 yr old, 1- 11 year old, ddp, 6 day MYW park hopper, WL woods view $2916.44 (please tell me that I have a good deal!) Oh yea, we are going Nov 15 - 20th

You sooo got a good deal!! We are going nov15-21 2 adults 2 kids age 11 & 3with courtyard view,7 day park hoppers, and DDP for $3293. Ours is a savings of $661 from original prices. I had booked at CSR with visa discount for $2564 same package but i just couldn't see DH and I sleeping in a double bed for 6 nights! We have a king here at home. I also really wanted a balcony and just love the way WL looks theme wise, ya know?:)

I know what you mean about the double beds!!! We also have a king at home, dh is 6'4". When we have doubles, I sleep with one dd, the other either sleeps in grandma & grandpa's room or on an air mattress!

Maybe we will run into each other! We are staying off property on the 14th. My dd's have to go to school that day. We are going to check them out some time in the morning and drive straight through! We will be at the WL early on the 15th so we can head to MK!!

I am actually taking DD age 11 out of school on the 15th and 16th so we can get to DW a little earlier. I know, i am a bad mom!:rotfl2:The 15th we are going to be driving straight to Orlando, so it will likely not be much of a fun day. I am trying to decide if i even want any dining ressie on that day. I was okay with staying at CSR, but now that we have booked WL i am soo pumped!! It will be my DH's first ever Disney trip and i want it to be extra special!:)

Yes, you can get connecting rooms with one room having 2 queens and the other having a queen and bunkbeds. That said, they will not guarantee connecting rooms unless you have adults in one room and kids in another room.

You can always ask at check-in for the bunkbeds. Be prepared, though, to pay the difference. They may have them available and not charge but always ask if you can upgrade to them and what the cost will be.

We had courtyard view rooms on the first floor - very close to the lobby -- and it was fine. We didn't spend much time in the room, though. Our patio overlooked the stream that is in the courtyard. Many say that the views closer to the lake are nicer and in some rooms you can see the fireworks, etc. I think whether you want a first floor room or higher depends on what you are after.
