My sister does not arrive until tomorrow so I am alone for now.
The airports were not very crowded but check in was terribly long. I am not sure why it is so slow to tell you the truth. I travel all the time and this is just plain slow. Arrive 2-3 hours early. The security line was also long, about 15 minutes. I am used to walking up and going through so this is a change. Keep you ID's close, you need it everywhere! Check in, security, car rental, and now they are checking your ID's at the gate of the property hotels when you check in. I like it, but just remember it or you will be scrambling to find your's when it is needed.
Check in took about 20 minutes. There were only two CM's working. I asked for a non-smoking but they gave me a smoking. This seems to happen a lot when I visit down here. I dunno why. Anyway, the rooms smells fine so I just stayed. I called housekeeping and the delivered a min-fridge in 15 minutes. After I'm done with this, I will go grocery shopping. I have not explored yet but from what I can tell, it is beautiful.
Oh, I rented a car from National and I am an Emerald Club Member so that was uneventful. I just got my bags, went downstairs, picked out a car, and showed my card to the gate person. That is it. It took about 5 minutes! I did not check to see how long the normal line was at National. I forgot to.
The drive down takes about 30 minutes and there are two toll's for a $1 each on the road down (hwy 417). I think there is another way to go but this is the way the signs lead you (imagine that).
It does not seem very crowded, at least on the roads and in the hotel. I will know more tomorrow when I go to Epcot.
Until then... Adios
