WL vs Poly at Christmas

We're spilting our early Dec. trip between CSR and the poly but after looking at some of the WL pics it might feel more Christmasy there. We stayed at the poly last fall and loved it, will we be let down at WL without the monorail? Aslo what kind of AP rates might be available in early dec? Do the junior suites ever get discounted? How is the transpotaion at WL? Thanks!

We've stayed at WL when the decorations were up and it was awesome. The themeing of the WL really lends itself well to Christmas.

The WL is absolutely beautiful in December. We love the WL but REALLY love the Poly. Why don't you make reservations for dinner one night at a WL restaurant and spend some time at the resort?

We have stayed at the VWL 3 times. The boat transportation has ranged from excellent to poor. In my opinion it's not as reliable as the Poly monorail.

We have never stayed in the WL building - just the villas, but I have read that the standard rooms are a lot smaller than the standard Poly room.

The rooms at the Poly are indeed larger, but we've stayed at both and perfer the WL. It's just personal opinion. The monorail is nice too. But we just like the atmosphere of the WL a lot better.

Thanks, we were planning on visiting WL to take lots of Christmas pics. I really love that monorail- so easy to pop over to MK!
