We're staying at VWL this year for the second time. We stayed there in 2011 and loved taking the boat over to MK. We're not big fans of the buses, so we generally avoid them as much as possible. However, I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the bus from WL to MK is very fast. Does it not stop at the GF like the buses do when going to the other parks? Is the bus faster to MK than the boat?

The WL to MK is fast, very short drive. The bus doesn't stop at any other resort to and from the MK because the other resorts (Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Contemporary) are all on the monorail loop and have no bus service to the MK. The boat would be a little longer but if you enjoy the boat ride, which I always do to change things up, then go for the boat. :)

I did not know this! Thank you!

We may do the bus in the AM, then the boat back to the resort for the break, and then back on the boat in the evening when we're not so rushed to get back to the park.

Thank you so much for the info!
