How often does the boat run from the WL to the CR? I'm trying to figure out if I should booked a 8:10am or 8:40am reservation for Chef Mickey's. If I booked the 8:10am reservation I'm wondering what time I'd have to be at the boat dock to catch the boat.

O.k. I called and made the reservation for 8:40am because the CM told me that the boats might not be running early enough for my 8:10am reservation. She said that the MK opens at 9am and the boats usually don't start running until 1 hour before the park opens. And if that's the case, then we'd have to drive over to the CR eat and then drive back, park the car at WL then go to MK. That seems like alot of wasted time driving the car back and forth. But I'm still not sold on the idea of the 8:40am reservation over the 8:10am reservation. What time would you chose?

I would drive. Those boats are tedious, I think. And we found the morning rides c-c-cold when we went in January.

The WL/CR/FW boat runs 7am - 10 pm (maybe later in busier seasons). The entire "circle" take about 20 minutes. Generally, there are 2 boats running. The ride itself will be less than 5 minutes.

If you're at the dock 30 minutes before your ADR, you'll have plenty of time.

Never ask CM's about transportation -- they're usually clueless. Ask here.

That should be the correct information because the Cast Member who told you the boats might not be running early does not know there are two of them. One boat is for the Magic Kingdom and the other one is just for going to the Contemporary and Fort Wilderness.
