WL standard room request

All right WL experts. First time staying at WL. We have 4 parties with standard rooms at WL. No desire to upgrade to Woods or Courtyard. Don't care about potential Wishes view. I'm thinking it might be nice to request a high floor (5th or higher) room fopening to the lobby with preference for North side of the building. Would be nice to have a view of lobby from outside the room and be enough above WCC to avoid noise. Also nice to be close to bus and Roaring Forks.

Any have any suggestions for other standard room locations or how I should word this request? Thank you.

I don't think the requests or room locations you are thinking about are standard view rooms.

To my knowledge, the only standard view rooms directly overlooking the lobby are the 4th floor rooms on the South Wing. Pretty sure that these rooms are classified as standard, though, because they have a pretty awful view of the roof.

You are probably better off in the North Wing standard rooms just off the lobby, IMO. I believe those overlook a parking lot, but at least you have trees in the distance and the possibility of a fireworks view through the trees.
