WL Refrigerator

Only 4 more days until our trip! I'm about to place my order with Garden Grocer but I'm concerned with the size of the fridge in our room (standard). Do you know if it will fit a gallon of milk?

I have a 1yo and I was hoping to have milk for him for the trip amongst other items I was going to purchase and refrigerate.

Yes, you can fit a gallon of milk, you might have to take a shelf out. Think of the fridge as the size you would purchase for your college dorm.

Thanks. I was spoiled in college and had a larger than normal fridge therefore my perspective is a bit off. I searched Disboards for a photo of the room fridge and couldn't find it. I even searched YouTube! I'm getting SO excited!

I think a gallon of milk might be a bit tight. I would also point out that it is a refrig only, no freezer section.

You can also purchase quarter (and I think half gallons) of milk at the WL gift shop.

We stayed at WL last year and were able to fit a 1/2 gallon of milk, but I don't think a gallon would have fit. Maybe you could get two 1/2 gallons instead just in case? I think it might be the depth of the fridge that's the problem.

Looks to me like you could slide the shelf to the lowest level and then place a gallon sidways. I don't remember what we did.

I know the fridge we used had more shelves then in the picture above and we had to remove all wire shelves except one and put it in the lowest slot(as PP noted). If you do lay it down make sure that cap is tight We did not like losing the shelf space so we went to 1/2 gallons.

I got half gallons and put them on the door shelf. I had plenty of room left in the fridge for all the other cold stuff.

As others have suggested, I would get two half gallons. I don't think a full gallon will fit. We were just there in Dec. Enoy! WL is a fantastic resort!!

Was just there,, fridge held a gallon of orange juice easily, plus tons of beer, soda, some bottled water and a whole lot of deli meats....see no problem...
