I have a almost 4 year old who has become a fish this summer... swimming everywhere. Being 40 in tall, 3 feet water is wonderful. What is the WL pool like... is she big enough for the slide. I hate to get her all excited and have it be a no go.

She should be fine, It's a good slide but not huge and I've seen lots of little ones going down it. The pool itself is really nice, natural shaped, again not hige. The quiet pool between the lodge and the vilas is also really great. It has jets in the bottom which really feel wonderful on tired feet!

I think the slide would be great for her! It isn't very large, and when we were there, I saw lots of young kids on the slide. :)

The pool is smaller than the AKL pool, and the slide seems not as "tall". My 7 yr old granddaughter went down several times but needed me at the bottom to be there to "catch" her. I forget how deep it is at the bottom of the slide.

It's not very steep, and there is a small tunnel to go through at the beginning. I kinda think of all the slides at Disney pools it's the easiest for little ones. The pool is fun there's a slight current, which gives the impression your swimming in a stream that started inside the lobby.

The WL pool can be very crowded - so I would recommend going into the water with a 4 year old.

Our teens hated the WL pool - they found it dirty, had ducks swimming in it, the slide was not thrilling, and the pool was too crowded. We do love the rooms at WL and the ambience of the WL resort.

WCC was a hoot. Ask to be a flag family one moring at the front desk when you check in. You can get a wooden nickel at WCC. The snack bar was OK. The boat to Mk was a great way to start a morning. The buses ran well.
HDD is just around the corner. The bikes are fun to rent and ride on the path to the campground. Enjoy !

Wow, we didn't see ducks swimming in the pool! My kids would actually love that! The current is really neat, but is just at the area where the stream goes into the pool. The slide isn't the biggest, but has a good zip to it. As an adult I preferred in to CBR's, POFQ's, and the Poly's (the tunnel in the poly actually hurt) because the WL tossed you around a bit. I think your 4 year old will love it and be fine. I didn't know about the jets in the quiet pool, I'll have to definitely try that in August!

Here are two pictures of the pool. As you can see in the first picture it can get crowded in the afternoon but it was never too bad when we were there. This pool is great. It is not too deep near the slide, great for kids and the lifeguards are always very vigilant with the children going down the slide. My favourite part about the pool was the ducks that would get right in and swim with you. Very cute and the kids in the pool seemed to love it.
