Hello!
So I went ahead earlier today and did my online checkin today for my upcoming trip. We are so excited try WL for the first time. It is also our first time in a deluxe resort at WDW! Super excited.
Due to budget we only booked a standard room. I do understand that I might have a horrible view of trucks, dumpsters etc.
When we booked I requested "High Floor, North Wing". We are also hoping for some pixie dust and will get an upgrade to a pool view etc.
I wasn't sure what to request when I did the online check-in. I ended up choosing "Highest Floor and Near Elevators". You can only check two choices. I keep going back and forth with the "Near Elevator" request. Has anyone had an good or bad experiences near the elevators. I hate to be super far away from them and do a lot of walking. Keep in mind I am hoping for some pixie dust for an upgrade. Also want to be near Roaring Forks as we will be going there for a quick breakfast each morning.
My concern is a lot of noise from the elevators etc. However, from the pictures I saw, it looked like the elevators are tucked away and not on top of any rooms.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks again!
