Hi,
We're staying at the WL starting Sunday (first trip to WDW since '76).
Do the rooms already have the refrigerators in them, or do we need to request them? Is there a fee for them?
Also, we're staying a week, and with 2 kids under 3, we'll have to do some laundry while we're there. How are the facilities for laundry?
Thanks in advance,
Keith

no you don't pay for a fridges - just remember these are on the small size.

most of the time they are in room - (they look like a piece of furmishure (sp))

The fridge is free but very small. The little tiny freezer will hold 2 of the ice packs we used to keep our drinks cold in the parks. I used the washer and dryers once. $2.00 for each machine and took about an hour and a half to wash and dry. There was only one other washer going when I used it (on a Saturday late morning).

we were just at the WL two weeks ago (we're going back to WDW tomorrow, but not to the WL, which is booked solid)..
anyway, the fridge in our room was right under the sink....a tiny little fridge (that looks like a fridge not furniture...)...the kind you used to have to order and pay $10 for....

as for laundry, i only found one laundry room when i was there....on the main floor you walk past the fast food place and at the end of that hall it's on the right....it has something like 8 industrial washers and about 12 industrial dryers.....and a little vending machine for laundry soap...

There was no frig in our room when we arrived, we could have requested one for free (as other posters have said, they're small). Laundry room is on the north side just past Roaring Forks and across from the elevators. There were 5 washers, 10 dryers. The machines are $2 each and the dryers need at least 2 cycles, they run about 30 minutes each cycle (I guess that's why there are 10 of them :) ) I had luck mid day on a Wednesday getting 3 washers and 3 dryers, but I think it's hit or miss. They have a change machine in the room as well and a vending machine with detergent, dryer sheets, etc. They were $1. Cheaper to bring your own if you can. Hope this helps and have a great trip :cool1:
