just wondering how old a kid needs to be to go to the kids club at the wl? and what are the daily hrs?
thanks!

I'm pretty sure the hours are 5 till midnight and the ages are 4 (potty-trained) throught 12.

The following was taken directly from the official WDW website regarding the WL:

My dd will be turning 4 the week after we're at Disney. She's fully potty trained and attends preschool. Big sister would also be there with her, so I'm not worried about separation. Do you think they'd let her in?

Not answering your question, but just some info -

We just left our kids (DD4 & DS8) at Simba's cubhouse at the AKL for the first time our last trip (6/15 - 23). I must say that I was VERY impressed with the room and how the 3 ladies treated our children. They had so much fun they didn't want to leave! DH & I are thrilled with this because now we can have some alone time during vacation but know that the kids will be fine.

I hope that it works out for you!

Jill

Buddyboo, all I can say is to ask. Let them know everything that you stated here and see what they say. Sometimes there are hard and fast rules, and other times there are rules that are basically guidelines that may be shifted a bit. The kids' club in question can definitely let you know how they handle a situation like yours.

Also, don't forget that you can have a private in-room sitter. We have gone that route and all the sitters that Disney set up for us were wonderful. From the official WDW website:

Name: Baby-Sitting performed by Kid's Nite Out

Description: For private or group baby-sitting, call (407) 827-5444†.

I don't think so. I seem to remember that it has to do with what type of state certification they have.

NO. They are licensed by the state, and the state doesn't care when your DD turns four. If she isn't four yet, she isn't four yet, and if WDW took her they'd be violating their license and could lose it. Please do everyone a favor and hire an in-room sitter rather than jeopardizing the license.
